Personally I would take anyone we can get just to booster our squad :p

Yes ok ALL goalies have to be good shot stoppers. But he does suffer on the decision making which lets him down. He has improved so even if we dont get a new GK I think he will do better next year but it would be nice to have a Worldclass goalie like we used to have.

Personally I think that our 'keepers need to start growing moustaches. My dad had a moustache and he was an excellent goalkeeper. :D

yea but smith played a def mid role for us, not attacking mid... its like saying djemba djemba should have scored more than vidic... chances are he did not yet he played further up the field?!> crazy horses.

I am up for that if it helps us keep more clean sheets lol

Anyone know what Senderos is doing now? He was on loan last season but does he leave on a free this summer or do we have him still?

Last I heard of Senderos was that he was moving to Everton on a free, I think. That was ages ago. I would keep him, he's only 24 and cover is cover, unless it's Silvestre then it's best to just give the other team 3 points.

No doubt this program will probably have it's own thread when the time comes but in case people didn't know there's what looks like an interesting program on tomorrow evening about Man Utd and their finances.

Panorama: Man United - Into the Red, BBC One, Tuesday, 8 June at 2235BST and then available on the BBC iPlayer .

Latest rumour is Fulham. I think it's probably inevitable he'll go, since we were all but set to sell him last season, and that's probably not endeared him to staying. Shame, I still rate him.

Yeah it is a shame. We could do much worse than him in my opinion, after all, he did go to AC Milan on loan so he can't be all bad. Not sure how many games he played there but whenever I've watched him hes never been Silvestre bad. I'm looking forward to seeing Djourou and Vermaelen, Wenger holds Djourou in very high regard and let's hope his faith pays off. :)

I rate Schwarzer very highly, but he is too old now...
Still Diego Alves, do we do our scouting by who gets good on Pro Evo!? I've seen him play well a couple of times for Almeria, but I'd rather it was someone else, someone a bit more proven.

Arsenal have told Barca that they want at least £60mill before they consider letting Fabregas go...good on Arsenal.

Tues night BBC1 panorama special on the amount of debt the Glazers are carrying £1.1 billion:eek:...

Anyone else see the interview on Sky Sports News?

They asked the cheif exec of the club England are playing, what kind of level they're at compared to the English leagues and he said, mid table championship :D

You heard the Sky interviewer sigh really loudly in a kind of "what? you mean they play decent football outside of England and the best league in the world ever premier league kind of way" :D

Some random Fulham rumours;

Arsenal centre-back Philippe Senderos could make a £3million move to Fulham after representing Switzerland in the World Cup.

Hungary midfielder Daniel Tozser has revealed that Fulham are interested in his signature.

"But I admit it would be a big step in my career if I could move to England. I know that the Premier League has a wonderful atmosphere and it's great to compete there.

"And I'm also attracted by the chance to play in the same team as Zoltan Gera."
