** Official Tekken 7 Thread **

I have this on pre-order with CDKeys also, still no key however :(

There are quite a lot of rumours that Namco Bandai is seriously considering releasing the game on PC. Have there been any new announcements regarding the matter? I'm a bit out of the loop and couldn't find anything significant.

If it's really coming to PC at some point, I'll literally **** my pants:D

You buying? :)

Most likely going to cave in soon but I've lost the ability to play other games until I finish this generation's bizarre masterpiece that is Nier:p

But won't miss Tekken for sure:)
I am pre-loading ;)

36.5GB download. The game unlocks in 4 hours, my download will be finished well before then :D

Great, hoping for some feedback on performance and the game itself:) This is tempting:p
Will keep you posted :)

I am mainly playing Akuma in Street Fighter 5 at the moment, it will be fun to play him in Tekken 7 now and see how much different it feels :D

The trouble is 90% of the playerbase will be on ps4 can picture people waiting ages to find games and if when they do will be laggy.
Tekken people are pretty snobby about tekken and only want to play on playstation.

I've played Tekken since the original was released on the PS1 in 1995, but I'm objective enough to know that the PC version is the definitive copy of the game. I've just preloaded it on Steam!

People might argue that the multiplayer community is larger on the consoles, however most people don't use a mic or just troll anyway, so you're not missing much. ;)
At least on PC there's Discord and Teamspeak channels for socialising with like-minded players and arranging fights!

Personally, Tekken has always been about the single-player for me. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed the odd bout with friends, but the competitive scene doesn't interest me in the slightest. It's all about seeing those glorious endings for each character!

Same with me, not that interested in online, I just like learning combos/fighting with the AI, unlocking endings, customising and trying different characters and generally enjoying the combat.

That's why I'm not to fussed about the size of the playerbase as long as there's someone to play in an occasional online match.

Damn, I know I shouldn't buy it now as I still have games to finish but I might cave in:p

Is there going to be a single player story campaign do we know? I never bother with multiplayer but really enjoyed the campaigns in Injustice and Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition. I bought Streetfigher X Tekken recently and the single player 'story' was lame and the endings even worse - the endings in the original Street Fighter 2 were more rewarding...

Street Fighter X Tekken is not reflective of the Tekken series. In fact, it's more akin to Street Fighter IV than anything else.

Tekken is arguably my favourite series in the genre, owing to it's history of brilliant cinematics and huge character roster. From what I've seen on Youtube, Tekken 7 is no exception to this trend!

What's it like?? Are you guys playing this yet?

I had a couple of questions.
1. Is it a good port?
2. Does is have much input lag?
3. Is the online laggy?
4. How well does 280x handle it?

Thanks
