*** Official Test Drive Unlimited 2 Thread ***

I think the novelty has started to wear off, ill probably load it up every few days for a quick game, just holding out for a new patch really to improve the handling, but i guess that wont come.

we'll have to wait quite a bit for the next pc patch.. destra said "we are focusing on consoles at the moment PC patch might come in few weeks or later.." :rolleyes:
 
Well ive stopped playing all together, 3 reasons..1 its no where near stable enough to enjoy it at times, 2 online races are just full of rammers, which are all if not most are russian. 3 well it handles like crap, i got used to it, but as i race in iRacing, switching from the 2 took me a while to readjust, and i cant be arsed frankly.

IF they ever get around to sorting those out ill play again, but untill then its just a chore to play it and not enjoyment anymore.
 
Kind of in the same boat haven't been on all week due to being busy but look like Atari still haven't fixed it properly yet :( Such a shame.

Still going to be playing though as I need to unlock all roads and I enjoy cruising around.
 
Sounds pretty much the same as the first one then, a game with huge potential let down by poor support and problems not being fixed. So glad I cancelled my pre-order, I wouldn't have been happy.
 
Well I spent in the game some 50 hours so far, and will spend much more, so I certainly got my money's worth. I just finished Oahu Tour, 200KM race, absolutely awesome. Veyron Super Sport, took me some 50 minutes or so.

New patch and DLC will be nice, but the game is awesome as is. Driving around with a friend and chatting on Teamspeak is good fun too.

i got 112hrs... :O 4k+ miles.. cba to discover all the roads as there's no proper reward for it.. and ill do it anyway little by little.. no rush at all.. like cruising around to nice places..
 
Yep lack of support has killed it for me :(

I shall still play but probably just cruising around every so often, still seems to be a few bugs about including the clubs...
 
Is this good for somone who isn't into racing at all, who just wants to drive around some beautiful scenery, in some fanastic cars *cough* MM SLR *cough*

Don't have a wheel or anything, would I just be able to use keyboard controls?
 
The fact that 50 percent of the people on the game are just lagging and jumping around.
Then in club or multiplayer matches i cant see half the guys im racing against.Shame really i enjoyed it a lot.
