Noob question:
Decided to get a Cloudkey gen2 and not sure if I should get a used USG or go for a UXG lite? (I also have my trusty TP Link Archer 1900 router, but guessed these would be an upgrade to that?).
On Virgin fibre, will put the Hub3 into modem mode.
Running x2 Ubiquiti AP LR's & x1 AP lite.

Advice please as I have nae idea with this.

Thanks

Looks like something is failing in my network. Losing all wifi, Hardwired equipment going down too. I need to get my new stuff together ASAP or no working from home for the time being.

Does anyone have an apple tv that is causing "blocked by stp to prevent a network loop" ?
I recently got a us-24-poe switch and notice that when the apply tv is on standy it is on FE and has STP blocked. As soon as the apple tv is being used it switched to GBe and the blockage disappears.

I noticed the FE to GbE changing while the apple tv is connected directly to the ucg ultra but never seen the STP blockage before.

Saw this in the unifi forums https://community.ui.com/questions/...onnected/f8f5604b-0be1-4deb-a19d-95ccf60f2ef6 but the fix seem to be disable sleep?

Found the same reports regarding apple tv 4k in apple and unfi forums but no concrete fix other than disable sleep :(

Update: Saw a forum post to register the apple tv to Homekit. Dug out an old iphone laying around managed to get it registered and now the STP blockage warning is gone!
Will continue to monitor but it seems to have worked. Port is solid green and is always GbE unlike before.

Is there any kind of indication or rumor about UniFi stuff coming back in stock, or is it a case of keep checking and hope you spot the stock in the 10 minutes it's available?

Is it bad practice to mix AP generations?
I have a single u7 pro that can cover the entire indoor house with 5ghz 6ghz in a stretch. Signal drops as soon as i go outside yard. I found a used u6 pro for £75 (will attempt to haggle) in marketplace and I'm thinking of placing it in the sunroom to extend the signal outdoors.

Its fine, I mix WiFi 5 and 6 without issues, obviously you'll not get WiFi 7 speed/features when connected to a WiFi 6 AP.
