*** Official Ubiquiti Discussion Thread ***

I think you've made a mistake on your JSON.

You've set the IP address of eth0 to 192.168.2.1/24 which is the default management address of the 130. Try changing eth0 to 192.168.2.2/24 and try again.

Can’t have Smart queues and DPI at the same time, I believe you said you were using DPI in a previous post.

As it stands it’s the same deal with new Intrusion detection feature that is in the new Betas.

An alpha firmware for the USG has just been released that allows DPI without hardware offload so it's coming.

However for me the bandwidth limitations without hardware offload are too much (even with the pro)

Has anyone in here had any Cloud Key failures? I'm reading a lot of people with issues on the Ubiquiti forums and I'm tempted to spin up a container on my QNAP to do the job and return the cloud key.

No problems here, but there was an earlier revision so not sure if the failures are more common in that. Even though I have a couple of dedicated servers at home I like the cloud key as it just keeps everything separate but still in house.

I seem to be getting a bit more throughput with the USG than I did with pfSense. Only about 4Mb or so, but still nice. Then again I did have Snort running before.

The Alpha/Beta shouldn't be posted outside of their forums really..

Especially ones with 'dev' in the name, always the possibility of bricking!
