Ok its now using the HD 6950 (or saying it is anyway) but made no difference score wise  I turned off the x4 AA and turned it on to test too

I don't know what you're expecting?

I told you your score was fine for a HD 6950 and even posted several comparisons.

It's not that you weren't using the HD 6950 it's just that the benchmark was misreading the information and reporting the wrong GPU.

Ok so this is with 4x AA back on... and no nothing has been overclocked...

Why are you puzzled?

You scored 1069 which around what I would expect it to score:

Nelly (6950) - 1183
bobby898 (6950) - 1148
Phase (6950) - 1109
nails666 (6950) - 1103
Mr Krugga (6950) - 1102
insejn (6950) - 1064
sldsmkd (6950) - 1049
iTek (6950) - 1047
Avathar77 (6950) - 1047
Laney88 (6950) - 1043
Dregan (6950) - 1040
mrplou (6950) - 1034

A bit of overclocking and you'll get a bit more.

Maybe ive been looking at this completely the wrong way then, Ive been looking at the FPSe... is 40 not low?

It's all relative.

If you look at the other scores back in this thread you'll see that they're pretty much in proportion to the average FPS.

If you find the other single HD 6950 scores in this thread their average FPS will be similar to yours.

Ok, im happy with that then :) I will be overclocking it soon

I do have one random question though :) When I bought this 6950 card it came with Deus Ex...I received the code in my email..but how do I get the game?

I tried looking on Steam...but could only buy it .. ? And I didnt get the CD

Here's mine.:)

Sounds about right, however ironically I hit my wall at the clocks I tested just before that post, it won't go any higher.

Still, I'm pretty happy with 1111, that even beats one lonely 580 down at 1085, as well as a few 480s and 570s.

Hi there guys, havn't done the Heaven bench since I built my new system so thought I would give it a go.

Here are my old scores using the same Msi 470 @ 870\1740\1674 on a Phenom 2 940BE at stock, 3013mhz, 4Gb DDR2, Win 7 64bit:

FPS:40.7
Scores: 1026
Min FPS: 21.2
Max FPS: 101.5

Now using my new rig(in sig), same 470 at same Oc, 8Gb DDR3, Win7 64bit, i5 2500K @stock, 3300mhz:

FPS: 41.0
Scores: 1032
Min FPS: 26.3
Max FPS: 92.7

Go figure, the scores are very close given there must be what, 2yrs between those processors, even the newer ram doesn't really figure. Shows the Heaven bench is a proper graphics benchmark. By the way I did use the same version of Heaven and the same settings for both benches.:)

Try using 3Dmark for CPU benching, or Cinebench

But Yeah, Unigine is the bomb for GPU bench :D
