played 1 game of arcade last night. Runs pretty well... on high/near max Managed 3 air kills and 1 ground...will need to get a joystick though... Not sure what the upgrades and crews difference make really im just clicking on stuff :D

If you only play arcade, do *not* get a joystick. It puts you at a serious disadvantage.
 
I may be tempted for your offer of some realistic malarky Mr Firebar ;) I cannot promise anything as I am all over the place atm but fingers crossed!

Yay! :) I've put copious amounts of superglue on my wings, they should stay on this time when pulling those G's ;) I should be on at about 8:30pm, I also need to find the teamspeak IP again since I re-installed.

I'm up for some RB.
I posted on the squadron chat last night asking this, and nobody replied (sad face).
Which Battle Rating are you thinking of fielding? I've got most anything, but me and Spanglies have had great success up beyond 4.0 in fighters.

One day I dream of seeing an OCUK dominated RB match where we are all on the same team... but alas, it remains only a dream. (We would conquer all!)

I'm playing US, GB and GER at the moment and have fighters for GB up to the Griffon Spitfires (BR 5.0?), GER and US are a little lower (so probably ~ BR 4.0). Perhaps we can do some more FW190 action? I have the D-5 and would quite like to advance a bit further.
 
Brain, you confused me last night! When I mentioned about the Canberra, or the Electric, being in the new British line up in the future you said no, well the plane itself is called the English Electric Canberra Mk2 that is going to be in the game ;)

I knew I had seen it mentioned, and when you said no I doubted myself. I know now, never to trust you, you fool of a took.

The Swift & The Hunter are being debated on whether to be included, but the Electric will be there :)

Although I'll never be able to fly it, I do hope the Hawker Hunter comes with this colour scheme! :D

You referred to "The Canberra and The Electric", which I took to mean the Canberra and the English Electric Lightning, their most famous fighter. This fighter will not be seen due to it running missiles, which is the cutoff point for WT.

Also:

I have a spec sort of question for you guys

I'm just in the process of switching my mother board, cpu and hd over to new specs

I'll be running the following

i5 4690k DC
Z97 Giga mobo
H100i
GTX660 graphics card
240gb SSD
16gb Ram

Has anyone got a simaler sort of set up and can they give me any indication what FPS I should expect / what graphics level I should be able to run at?

Could I run WT at medium or high? I currently run @ min with brilliant fps but would like some of the eye candy I keep seeing in videos

I'm running an i5 @ 4.2Ghz and a GTX660.

This is what I'm running, and typically get 80-100fps in most areas, sometimes dipping down into the 60's when there's heavy smoke or fog effects:

If you're currently using the GTX660 then it may well be bottlenecked, depending on what your existing PC spec is.
 
Yeah it is by the rubbish fijitsu motherbord and e5500 cpu I have.

Its a oem 1.5GB 660 so not the full fat 2.0gb ones, but I'm hoping for the same sort of results.

Hence why I'm getting the rest of the machine rebuilt with a quad i5k so I can over come this issue
