The removal of the x2 bonus was the death knell for soloing and hoping to get at least some players using team work.

I know I'm not helping myself out as the last few times I've played no one else was on so I was soloing which peeved me off so much when there are guys on I just haven't the heart to play.

For me the game has actually gone backwards in the last couple of months and tank battles is just turning into WOT. either everyone rushes forward and gets nuked or they all sit in spawn trying to one shot the enemy and we don't caoture any points.

I'm in the same boat in that I can see me (already have) starting to drift away from the game. Which is actually quite sad as I love it and it has so so much potential.

There has been some really crappy players of late, its such a good feeling when we get a squad of KV-2's running :) and we can use team work against the unwashed masses.

Exasperation at herping, derping teams who never back you up have led us to take severe action recently, Boyce mate.
The vast majority of tank battles are now played at 4.7BR or similar, and almost always include KV2's, in platoons, rolling side-by-side.
You get almost guaranteed kills with each shot. Your teammates assist with any repairs you need (1m 20s repair time down to 17s? Don't mind if I do). And when you're not firing, they are! Tidy.

Downsides include Hellcats shouting at you to move. A tank that is beaten by most snails in a race. And a silhouette so large, when you drive infront of the Sun it classes as an Eclipse.
 
I've been saying for ages that the higher level tanks are more fun, its like the opposite to planes.

Yeah speeds are slow but I reckon you get to know the maps better as you tend to use them more tactically rather than just blazing through in a BT5
 
Stuffed another 7 people in the IS-2 in one battle last night, followed up by another 4 with my lovely ISU-152 of mega-cannon.

This may have been the last view of several WT players last night ;)

I cannot believe that David Cameron is letting houses have internet this bad still!

Seriously though, thought I would try and get one game in, one bloody game. Was okay for take off, got up to 18k feet and then magically showed up at 5k feet, then again I flipped sideways without doing anything and nose dived into the ground. Fuming.

Re the IS-2 I must admit it does manage to bring a smile to even my grumpy chops. :D
