erm.... that was fun! Massive learning curve from planes obviously, think world of tanks but faster! All our tanks were in with the mega tanks so it might have been a bit one sided but was still good to see the new maps and stuff.

As Kutter said tactics will be a big thing, will be a lot to get used to!
 
I might have to try the low level Ju-87 with the siren on it. Dive bombing tank players, MUHAHA. Has to be the one with the sirens on though, fingers crossed it makes an almighty noise for the tank players too.

Also, just unlocked the final performance upgrades for the Mk22. Oh my....oh my. The final engine upgrade gives you about 295hp more :o Which is more than all the other engine upgrades combined. Oh my.

Seems to take forever to unlock upgrades on these high-level things, I still haven't got the 20mm ammo belts for my Tempest yet! Soon my precious, soon...

i was looking at the tempest, trying to figure out if it was worth stopping going for the meteor and go for that instead. I was only 70k RP, and I'm about that far way from getting the meteor.

Get it! :p

It's a big upgrade from the Typhoon in every way, faster and more maneuverable at stock than an upgraded Typhoon, and it has the Mk V Hispano cannons which jam less, and fire faster than the earlier cannons so it packs a bigger punch.

Plus if you get the Meteor you're going to be going into Arcade battles with jets, having only 1 of your own, and some fairly moderate prop planes.

I went for a couple of flights in the IL2 with all the explosive trimmings, and ended up the most deadly in my team. Even if you run out of ammo, using the X button and the T list of sayings you can work as a spotter for your tanks.
Enemy tanks die nicely to rockets :) Damn RB and its lack of bomb indicator tho!
