Was it a full moon or something last night? The game appeared to be completely full of specials (and arty scum!!); on more then one occasion I found myself very close to full rage mode.

Glad there is a new kittencam, perhaps watching this will help me keep calm if it's the same tonight.....
 
match last night had 10 kV-1S on one side and 9 KV-1S on the other. Karelia map. I was on the side with 9 and we wiped the floor with the other KV-1S' !

some really weird match ups too. T2 with T8's
 
I use the amx 13 90 as a scout. My mission in this game is to kill all
Arty .

Though i do like my JPE100 IS4 and Batchat.
 
Thought i'd use some free XP to unlock the french tier 5 arty seeing as they get +70% extra credits this weekend. Arty really aren't my cup of tea but can't really pass up making 40k+ profit each match even when you do badly (i miss a lot with this bloody thing :p). Really need the cash to buy other tanks that are unlocked and also only 10k xp away from unlocking this jagdtiger which costs an arm and a leg.

I loved the little tier french V arty, I regularly got some good kills with it. Here I got 7! :)

 
Damn, i'm nowhere near that good in it, quite bad if truth be told. The lil thing is making a fortune though, made 700k on it this morning so far already! Chucked a rammer on it and might throw a GLD on too as it's a bit of a cash cow with this event. I was going to sell it once the event was over and use that garage slot for the jagdtiger but bought a spare slot instead, it's turning out to be kinda fun :)

Once you get predicting target movement and flight time down you realize that 75% of playing an arty is 'luck' and sometimes you get rounds where the loaded dice are on your side and your shots hit almost every time, even when they aren't fully aimed in. Several shots in that video were complete flukes that weren't fully aimed in but hit perfectly. I started off playing arty and you can easily see that round could've gone very differently, with maybe a couple of direct hits, lots of complete misses and then they'd possibly have lost. It was well played non-the-less but whether arty hits or misses is completely out of your hands.

I dont quite agree. Some of the arty is like this but the AMX105 was absolutely brilliant it always hit where you aimed. Then along came the 8.2 update and it ruined the AMX105, suddenly it was firing as bad as the Hummel.

Another great one is the russian SU-26 but the ammo is something like 18. Just as you get going you run out.

Plus dont forget with arty I have found (and been reliable told) you need 100% crews to get the best out of them.

I've got the T5 arty at the moment and I noticed a big accuracy increase when I got my crews to 100%.

quick question folks, how hard is this to get into and is there a myriad of keys/buttons to have to memorize etc? like the idea of it but i like things nice and simple?!
