No there is no Free Gold, there was a wot Performance Test for wot some Time ago and u could her some Gold for new accounts. I was searching for that and thought that's it, .and after reading the hole thing I figuered out I mixed something up. The test is over, its something new, u get that stuff if u buy a new card :(
 
Well having lurked on this thread for a while I thought it was about time I said hello :)

I've been playing for a bit over a year and just over 7000 games. Made it as far as tier 9 with an IS-8 and a ST-I elited but haven't coughed up for the IS-4 yet :rolleyes:

My over all stats are a bit duff because I spent the first 3000 or so games playing like a complete noob... but I'm working on that :D

Well after going proper mental last night I have uninstalled the game.

Its too broken to play with all the "We hit them hard" zero damage hits even though you see a massive hole in the tank. WTF.

Dunno what to play now.

Where can I sell my account? I have practically every tank and 270 premium account left and loads of premiium tanks, low, is6, Type59 super pershing, AT15, Tog 2, T34, and lods of Tier 3-5 premium tanks.

After all the time, effort and money you have put into it are you sure that you want to sell your account?

My premium ran out 2 days ago and I took the opportunity to take a break from the game for a week or two, perhaps you should do that same?

don't sell your account, you will end up regretting it :(

just take a nice long break like i am doing atm and get back into it when you feel like it :)

Agreed. Take a nice long break, the account represents a significant investment of not only money but grinding time as well. The game is very frustrating but does become less so if you platoon and/or do companies. Grinding alone is where the real pain is.
 
Well, it's uninstalled. Knowing me I will probably reinstall it tonight.

I am just so frustrated with the game, its pre-determined outcome is so obvious now. Stacked MM, fail teams and mega awesome elite players on the other, the dice roll effect all contribute to a skill less game.

I simply don't get any enjoyment from it anymore, just more rage and hatred.

I played Tropica 4 for the first time last night and 2 hours went in the blink of an eye! I'm going to pre-order CoH2 and play through Rage and Bulletstorm this weekend.

I may also finally finish my arma 2 mission!
 
I was in a similar position last year, just had enough and rage quit the game.
At the same time Skyrim was released and i spent 6 months playing that as well as Civ V and RTW.
When i eventually did fire up WOT's i enjoyed it, so i ended up playing it even more than i did originally.
But i am starting to feel the same again, when my premium runs out in 10 days, i am thinking of giving this a break for a while.
Agree with you, its more like a game of chance now, some games your team just gets raped, other games its a rush just to do some damage before the oppostion are all killed.
WG need to think up a way of having a better balance in the teams, but i doubt that will ever happen
