nuttah found the modpack and it gives all tanks arty mode aiming and a laser line for guidance :(

thats how a vk3601 killed me in my tiger P from the east base on sand river when i was on the west side of the town by the west base behind a dead is with buildings and trees between us and well outside maximum view range for any tank.

even in the open most tanks shouldn't be able to spot me until 350metres and I would obviously see them well before that

that sounds more like a scout in a bush spotting you and a good arty shot, i have nailed t-50-2's running full pelt before.
 
The mod been made long time ago and not suppose to leak from russian best clans, WG is aware since a year I think and they did nothing. I'm not sure if they can, someone said it is all written in flash and WG is helpless...I am not an expert. Forum was usually cleaned in a few sec after anyone start talking about it (russian forum).

Do you remember story with bullet tracers? They had to switch it off because it was not fixable and replaced by some substitute.

Yup, can see a lot of people using this. Guess it finally is time to leave this game well alone unless WG do something. This will be the game killer.
 
I've never actually quite got my head around cheating in a game.

1. Where is the enjoyment in it? Winning? But such a shallow victory. Do they go away from a game going "yeah I pwned all those newbs, I iz the greatest gamer that ever played this game!!!111"
2. It ruins the look of the game - quite often the graphics are screwed up or lots of scenery missing. I like to win for sure, but not at the expense of the game looking like it came straight out of a 80's arcade.
 
well most cheats do it because they are crap but they tend to make it fairly obvious.

it doesn't seem to wide spread so far but I bet it will be soon now all the noobs are looking for it
 
can't play since 8.5. my update stops and say critical error. i tried uninstalling everything and reinstall, manual updates it just won't work anymore and i'm missing it. loads of people are having the same problem and get no help from tech support. any ideas guys??

I would wait before i buy it.
Currentlt Russian tier 8, 9 and 10's are on offer, 30% purchase reduction and 30% extra credits for the next 2 weeks, then it changes to another country, so German tanks will be on offer eventually.

This thing is a lot of fun, lovin this tank. From the most hateful, abortion of a.......well it's not really a tank, not really a tank destroyer but a ****** coffin on wheels aka M3 Lee to this. I nearly lost the will to live playing that thing and nearly threw in the towel. But the M4 is NICE!

EDIT: Whilst I am here....which next M4A3E2 or M4A3E8?

so was aimbot in cs valve had no problems banning people although aimbot was always bringing out a new version valve quickly auto banned each new version.
time for WOT to start using punkbuster , hotshield or whatever its called.
but it's got to start using something that can detect external processes

people wouldnt risk accounts and it will keep the higher tiers cheat free and just leave people on throwaway accounts cheating at low tiers

if you follow the link on the youtube page it takes you to a russian page where you can actually download it.
Although it says its been downloaded 86 times.
Strange thing is the install instructions tell you to enter a serial key for it to install.
Installation:
Download and install the desired folder, then run the installation, enter the key XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX then click to start the game, in the window that opens, select the file worldoftanks.exe, which is stored in the folder World of Tanks login and play.

just looks like a trainer you would download and run before the main game, then just use key presses to activate/deactivate etc.

eg when arty fires it puts a red circle on the map showing you where they fired from.

Blank out the key and links to it.....lets not encourage it please! I'd also ask anyone with links to blank them so they don't get picked up on searches etc. If people want to find them, lets not make it easy.

I went for the E8 when i went down that line, as iirc the E2 didnt lead to another tank. it may be different now.
I quite enjoyed the E8, fastish, agile and a decentish gun with a high rof iirc.
The E2 is slightly less agile/fast but has better armour.
