Just a poverty spec i3 2100 for now, looking to buy a used 2500k though so I can start some clocking adventures.

GPU is VTX3d 7870, can run quite a few other games flat out on max settings but WoT is a bit meh.

TBH it doesn't bother me massively, I was just intrigued. 60% w/r and 1824 WN7 here, did any of you guys get an M60? I know a lot of people merc'd for other clans so loads of people ended up with one.

OK, took me an extremely long while but I've finally sussed the T26E4.
There are situations that you find yourself in that the standard AP rounds just don't cut it no matter where you aim.
The solution is to carry loads of APCR gold rounds and all of a sudden your lame duck becomes a tier 8 M103 with lower alpha damage!
Yes, you may find that you will loose credits, but there are other games that do very well without gold rounds.

It's more fun to play than T34 (sadly) and requires far less skill.

Not great, but expect to see my win rate increase in SP very soon.

The best 'nerf' to SP would have been to either increase the price of premium rounds or reduce their penetration.

Tank would play much nicer with AP 200mm rounds IMO.

you've sussed it wrong, the thing to do with it is sell it next patch and get your 7200 gold back as it's really not fun to play at all.

i'm selling mine and will either get an E-25 or maybe keep the gold and see what else comes out.

and the T34 can be great fun to play, it's just a bit situational as the slow rate of fire can leave you screwed at times coupled with the weak hull.
 
they are going to give you the option to sell it for the cost price in gold in the next patch as they are changing it's armor layout and tweaking other things on it.
 
I have tried all the premiums. I like the IS6, but it is a bully tank, great against weaker opponents but frustrating against anything with armour.
The T34 is the best IMO, however it is just a tier 8 T30 which can be had for silver.

Jagdtiger 8.8cm is great if you can get in a good position, and is very strong hull down, but has very little gun depression.

FCM50t is fun, but not a great credit earner!!

I had and awesome game in my SP last night, tier 8 match, 5 kills 3000 damage and got 60k credits without premium.
With premium it would have been over 100k, but it's still not a lot as SP is hard to play and it's rare to get a match like that.

SP can be quite strong, I can usually solo an IS3 with mine without having to use gold (however gold helps a great deal)

I can't get on with the T34, it's great if you can get hull down and have support so you can't get flanked. Sadly I don't find that really happens very often! I'll pretty much always help out on the weak flank, and that's generally curtains for the T34. Especially if the other team pushes :(
 
su-122-44 or e25, both can deal lots of damage if you are good with them which is the key to good earnings.

churchill 3 is also pretty decent for its tier.
 
In terms of MM, The IS-6 is the tank you want. It will never see games higher than T9, so you are always top tier (in a Tier8 battle) or middle table (in a Tier9 battle). Unlike the Lowe, T34 and Jagdtiger8.8 who can all see T10 battles

It has good alpha and sloped armour, its only weak point is its lack of Pen.
 
Don't go with the E-25 for a credits earner as at these tiers most players can tear it to shreds very quickly, its a good fun novelty tanks and rip a lower tier team apart but in the high tier it just gets munched. Get the SU-122-44 instead as its able to take a round or two before exploding in a ball of flames unlike the E-25.

I have had some awesome games with IS6 on the test server.

Plus it will help me with my Russian crews.

It's currently 90% likely that I will go for IS6.
