Voices are now really bad, might get used to them after a while though... just kinda tune them out. (Also Bean0 has a download of the original voices, so I might try that out 
)
Karelia I'm finding really difficult to spot enemies on the minimap....to many bright colours are doing my eyes in heh. Saying that, Karelia has given me my best Leo run, zipped out on the off and went the main SE route (from south), dodged a few and shot a KV and VK3002 in the ass on the way past continued dodging and drove up into the base camp where I killed the poor M41 I think it was sitting there, and then to top the run off I suceeded in Capping to 100%
My team was killing themselves laughing, and taunting the other side. Wish I had of taken some pics, I was too amazed to be honest lol. 
It seems so many people just continue plodding forward without thinking they might need to return to base...

I dunno, it seems to me that this game doesnt really lend itself to someone starting out. Its difficult to impossible to get someone to join a platoon with you due to the fact your in the lower tiers but to be quite honest by the time you grind to the higher tiers by your lonesome i think you'll have moved on to another game by then. Its probably just due to the fact that im starting late as opposed to all others so i appreciate that but gaming for me is about teamwork, and if i have to wait 3-4 months to get someone to join me.....
Ive been asking every night but only managed 1 batch of games earlier today, and although that was fun i was up against lowes in mt t-28. Once this premuim runs out ive got a feeling this game might grow old real quick playing with randoms in every game. Its a shame because if i started when all you guys did, i think i'd be having a blast.
We'll see.

A lot of the game is set up to encourage you to pay for premium unfortunately.
Lower tiers are REALLY tedious when you need credits. Stock tanks tend to be absolutely dreadful. Some exp grind for the next tier is even worse because of the crappy matchmaking (I'm still using this worthless piece of **** Jagdpanzer IV). Tank Companies have absolutely zero balance. Clan Wars you might as well not bother.

It is a great time for low tiers due to a lot of people running US TD's. Even tho i skiped a few early ones and leveled up quickly with free xp to get to wolverine im still level 5 which is low enough to partner with most, althought i have seen a really bad match making with this tank. Also back in my lee to grind for t1 HV. Which i wish i did instead of the sherman cos i found it a lot easier to grind us tank destroyers without going the E8 route. Quite a bit cheaper in xp needed too.
Also you will be surprised how much u can do within 1 month of premium. I got to at least a tier 6 twice and maybe a tier 7. Depends how many battles u do. At the release i was running almost all day for about 3 weeks solid. So if u can put the time in u can level up quicker than just a hour a day for example.

I've been playing the game just over a month now (without premium). Getting up to tier 5 tanks is pretty easy to be honest. I've just recently put in a few quid so I can have more slots for tanks.
Current tanks I have are:-
Tier 4 - Leo
Tier 5 - T-34, KV, StuGIII, Hummel
Tier 6 - JagdPzIV, KV-3
Have the JagdPanther researched but I cant afford the 1.3mil credits since I just bought the KV-3.
Ultimately it depends how much time you spend in the game.
I noticed when searching the net that as a beta tester you got a gift tank, how exactly did you claim it? Just wondering if i'm entitled to it and of so how to get it. Only problem being of course that as far as i'm aware the beta accounts were on the other server.
It would have appeared automatically in your garage, think you needed some 800-1000 battles since last September or something, I can't quite remember. Beta accounts would have been on whatever server (EU/US) you switched to (or created after) back in the server split in Jan/Feb.
The beta tank is nothing great, pretty much a slightly better armoured sherman with a stock gun. A decent money maker if you have nothing better.
Oh and Im back guys. A bit out of practice, my 5x battles so far have been horrible...but I've got another 2 weeks till I start a new job, so that will give me plenty of time to get my Panther 2.

Guys, how good is the Lowe for generating credits?
I'm thinking if its as good as some say It would probably let me do quite a few different trees at the same time but I've read on the official forums that some say its great and others say its taken quite a bit of a nerf.

The löwe prints credits and is considered fairly powerful because of its strong gun and not-so-weak armour. So WG responded by upping its price to ensure it continues printing money too. They know its OP and generates a stupid amount of credits, but all WG care about is getting you pay through the nose for it. What is it now? Almost £40?

I think a Lowe on premium can generate between 80-100k credits from a decent match. One of my friends has one.
Lol he is a bit of a completionist, he is leveling all tanks from every tree, think he is up to tier 5/6 now on every branch of every tree. I think he also keeps his tanks when elite so he pays for loads of storage.
Bare in mind also he does have 13 x lvl 65 characters in LOTRO.
