Been getting my LW up, at 475 at the minute.

Going to need 760 something savage leathers to make into heavy savage leathers, not looking forward to that!
 
lol, mining and herb gives terrible gold, you could make more by spending an hour on the AH. And it will only really be good for the first week of mop, but that's like 5 hours of undercutting depending on server :P

How is it? I'm not going to sell the mats raw, they'll be going onto an enchanter/jcer and prospected and then with the uncommon gems theyll be made into stuff that can be de'd for essences and the rare gems will be made into cata gems and sold off in the ah. essences will then be made into embersilk bags and cata enchants which will also be sold. herbs will be mailed off to an alchemist and conjured into potions/flasks/elixirs to also sell on the ah
what's your method of making money?
 
Well the main fact that 5.0 is out in 7 days, which means people will stop raiding very soon and stop gemming/enchanting everything because they will want to save gold for MoP, and the fact that gems are down to 40g now on my server, can't speak for yours of course, but the effort in putting in mining time and herbing time to the amount of gold you make is not worth it imo, you'd probably make more just buying ore and prospecting it down, but even then you're not making much.
And when you said essences will be made into embersilk bags, how do you plan on doing that? dust creates bags, but even then you need the cloth, best bet is to just farm bg's tbh, that's what I'm in the middle of doing, 1gold per 3 honour, decent money I guess, but not worth doing much now until MoP releases, and if you do make bags, keep them until MoP, embersilk will be more rare so will dust, so prices will increase.
And my method was the JC shuffle, but stopped now, not profitable really, but stockpiling inks for mop atm and selling transmog gear since that will never stop selling :P
 
I always made my money on expansions through mining and skinning mats, but with Cata I found tailoring to be the best.

Buying Embersilk cloth on the AH and turning it into bolts, was an awesome gold maker for quite a few weeks.

I made an absolute fortune in expansions with mining. Raw mats are always in super high demand as expansions come out and everyone wants to craft with them. People who want to power level Blacksmithing etc to get the high end recipes first to command huge crafting fees will always buy raw mats.

How do you get gold per honour kill?

Also, what transmog gear are you selling?

Sadly, my server is dead right now and pretty nothing sells.

Sorry, didn't explain that very well, with 5.0 they will be turning valor into justice and conquest into honor, and removing the 4000 honor cap, so any honor above 4000, will turn into gold the day mop arrives, same with JP i think.

I Have a shopping list built into my auctionator, I just buy any cheap items and re-sell them for higher, make a good bit doing that.

Not a good sign then :P Should probably move from there if you have any hope of making gold. :P
 
Just come back to WoW this week, and thought I would level up my old Druid alt in time for the new expansion. Having raided with my Rogue, Death Knight and Shaman this current expansion I needed something new again and fortunately a class that can fill any role! :D Hopefully they don't suck in MoP.
 
Yes, but thats main hand, you can only use one hand, main hand is for tanks with a shield. You need 2x one hand item's.
 
Just got the Grey Camel on my main! Figured I'd go do some Archaeology at Uldum, got to my second digsite and NPC flashed the statue. First time I'd even seen the mysterious statue and bam, straight in!

Booyah!
