** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

Overachievers was amazing right up till we hit MOP content. We had so many laughts along the way, people stayed at the level caps for maybe a month at a time, we cleared all the content at the appropriate levels, no looms.

I remember when we did the mount runs through SW trying to make the realm aware of who we were.

I have to say that guild was the most fun ive had in WOW in a long time, would love to be able to recreate that some day. People getting their Herald of the Titans was great fun

The biggest problem we had was that once we reached level 90 content we seemed to struggle to get people to want to raid at that level. Because by the nature of the guild a lot of people were possibly raiding for the first time as well as people who really wanted a bit of progression.

We found that those different kind of mindsets basically meant any raids were frustrating once they were no longer faceroll.

Once the GM's parted ways with the guild it sorta fell apart but some of us still play regularly and lots of us still keep in touch.

Have to give credit to Rainagul he really made some awesome raid vids, lots of great memories there :)

Molten Core

Naxx

Herald of Titans/Ulduar

maybe he should make a new reroll guild somewhere ;)

did speak to Rainagul quite a bit about those days, he said it was his fav time in wow too.

those vids do look amazing, what a wonderful ride you had. :)

Ah those video's, good times, especially loved making the Ulduar one, still my favorite raid to this day

Yeah this new re-roll guild isn't the best, but it's the best going from what I can see. Think I will be rolling a DK with them once they allow it in TBC, can't be arsed leveling my mage anymore, such a borefest.

that reroll guild I found was an utter joke ran by 10 year olds. Logged on tonight and most of the officers where arsing about in Vale of Eternal Blossoms when one of the main guild rule was to not go in expansion zones that are above the level cap.

I questioned this and got a swear word packed response from the GM saying he will do what the hell he wants to

so I gquit, anyone who joined that guild I seriously wouldn't bother with it.

I kept hearing about that overachievers guild though from Icehole (Rainagul), man that sounded like an awesome adventure.......wished I had started wow in 2012 :(

If it was Reliving The Past you are talking about then they explained why they did it, I don't really see the problem overall, but I wasn't online when this took place.

On a brighter note we cleared MC earlier with 22 people within an hour, was fun to be back there :)

I just re-subbed after having some rest from WoW.
Its fun again, not as much as I'd like to, but that was to be expected and I still didn't get in proper raid. Maybe sometime next week :-)
And I am happy, managed to find a horde with pvp on my first day back. Thats like Xmas present on my server, which is alliance dominated.
Don't really want to hijack the thread for my own thing, but if any healer or rdps would like to join a high-end semi hardcore daytime raiding guild, alliance side, Silvermoon server, let me know ( Brakkar@Silvermoon ) :-)
Or find us on wowprogress ( Exilium@Silvermoon ). Need just 5 people to start 25s in SoO hc :-)

Ps. We don't have any 10 year olds, we are mostly over 20 y.o. some much older :-)

Well, the guild (Reliving the past) is full of double standards, and if it hadnt been noticed by Posh would anyone have said anything? seems that it was just the offficers leveling cooking in Pandaria

Looms arent allowed as it gives people ad advantage, by the reason they wanted to level cooking was for the buff advantages.....

^ This

its a guild made by the GM for him and his close mates. The guy is on major power trip summary kicking and swearing at members is a bit of a disgrace.

That guild is poorly managed by childish little individuals who change the rules to suit themselves when they get bored, sadly, it was a complete waste of my time and I fear going forward........others too.

I see no problem with maxing cooking, the food has level requirements anyway so what difference does it make.

Loom aren't allowed because they want people to level at the same speed, cooking doesn't affect that in any way, it just makes it easier as cooking is a pain to level normally.

Frstly - as its easy to level cooking in pandaland you are essentially gaining an advantage over someone who doesn't have Mists and has to do it the 'old fashioned way'.

Secondly - why not make the annoucement to the guild as a whole that this was going to happen, rather than have someone notice that the officers were in Four Winds? Almost feels as if they were there off levelling cooking and hoping that no one noticed. Takes a bit of effort to get into Pandaria if you aren't 85.

Third - I've seen plently of folks with that guild tag in BG's wearing looms whilst on my loomed up hunter.

Fourth - The leadership need some maturity, swearing at members is not the done thing, regardless of who is right, who is wrong.

Lastly, the enforced cap of 40 served the purpose of keeping folks within the same level range

I see your point, but to me I don't see an issue, it was discussed for quite a while beforehand in guild chat and on TS so people did know it was being talked about.

I can't comment on people with looms in BG's but people that were found to be using them were removed a while ago, maybe there are more I don't know.

I don't disagree with you at all, just It doesn't bother me, I'm only here to experience old content, as long as I get to do this I'm fine with it.

Are there any ocukguilds still going, I've found my self playing again. Got my level 90 warrior tank, but finding hard to get into a guild as I don't have a lot of experience in the newer raids and dungeons :(

Are you telling me Reliving the Past had officers in Pandaria levelling cooking? Seriously that's not what re-roll is about and if that's true I'll be gquit also.

Overachievers is still in there some of us kept it alive but its not active by any means. It was my best wow experience by far since I started in 2005.

What you doing now then Posh?

Hope you get to see that content, I've done 4 of these and the only one that made it through the old content was Overachievers (and that I had to leave halfway through the level 70 cap due to RL issues), all the others fell apart well before that - judging from the numbers that did MC last night I dont see this one lasting either, low 20's isnt a good start but hopefully thats becuase it was AQ10 on the calender. Should have run that though tbh, AQ10 is well doable with 1 tank per group.
