** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

Certainly makes you wonder what's happening internally at Blizzard for both Rob Pardo and GC to leave. However those two may have just reached the point where they wanted a change - Pardo has been at Blizz for 17 years now.
 
aye, ofc the sky is falling anytime anything happens at blizz, but if nothing else its bad PR for a company suffering from its longest period between patch and expansion.

Not to mention their resources appearing to be diverted into cash shop pets (cinder corgi) and ending up pandaria cinematics (bottoms up)
 
Wildstar looks awful why would he jump to them i do not know... Unless there was internal angst towards the direction of WOD. WOD will be the result of 8 years of polish there is not a chance anyone can crack a nut with 8 years of refinement.


Looking forward to WOD because Ghostcrawler got nothing but flamed anyways and this must be why WOD sounds so good.
 
yeah personally i wouldnt resub before the 6.0 patch as thats gonna be a game changer in terms of the stat squish, ability pruning and basically all the WOD changes as the pre expansion patch
 
Wanted to ask a quick WOW question.

Ive never played before and never a game of this type before but installed from battle.net to see what its about but there didnt seem to be a tutorial, is that right?

The other thing was it seemed to be the Mists of Pandaria, for continuity sakes shouldnt you be starting from the start in terms of the storyline or do you need to start in whatever was the last expansion? Is there a way to start from the very beginning?

You start from level 1, you only access Mists of Pandaria areas by either starting as a Pandaren or when you hit level 85 - 90.

Mists of Pandaria is the latest expansion and the game is focussed around this, so all art work reflects this on typical login/loading screens etc. If you level up you will get to see all the areas from all the expansions.
 
I got into MOP a couple months ago after I quit after Cata. Prepurchased WOD so Have insta max lvl Warlock again but Couldnt get into MOP so stopped playing.

Bring on patch 6.0 or A beta inv for WOD (gotta love how people from vanilla dont get into Beta's but new people do..)

So when i started it was going on about how Thrall's off trying to sort something and Grommash?? is in charge of the Legion. So thats the start then I take it?
 
I've got a Hunter, Rogue and Mage to level 80 from WoTLK but returning to the game I really have no idea where to start at all.

Considering just re-rolling and starting from scratch. Can anyone recommend a class? I know Monk is the new class, again no idea what it's all about though!

So I started playing again a few weeks back, picked resto druid and found a guild. Managed to get garrosh down last night, so that was nice :)

Now to pray that the RNG gods continue to shine upon me for the cloak quest. Started the secrets part this week and managed to get 10 to drop :o
