** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

Sure, I can see GW2 making 10 million people quit... not.

WoW was already having problems and had that 'recruit a friend' with free Cataclysm expansion and level 80 character a while back to increase numbers when they hit lows of around 10 million or something. It's not going to make all those quit, but with a game that sames to be in steady decline already with some struggles it will only hasten it to have a big hyped no sub mmo to compete with it.

It is also getting old, and feeling dated too, and I did actually play it when a friend 'persuaded' me to go back, quit again though :P. While there's some nice addictions with each expansion, I generally think each expansion has been worse than the previous and my expectation for MoP is the same (hence part of the reason for quitting). Especially the way they've done that ridiculous HP boost of late and I was told MoP was the same.

People I had heard from about beta had said it was performing badly and generally it seemed to be not rated well compared to previous expansions.

I haven't actually played GW2 beta but have only heard good things about it and I did play GW1. Heck it had a few key figures of my WoW guild playing betas of GW2 when they could instead of WoW and they seem to be very excited by it.

I don't much like the idea of paying for expansions when paying a subscription (approx £30 for GW2 say yearly for expansions or £30 approx for 3 months of WoW playing not including expansions at £30 for WoW also), one or the other as far as I'm concerned. GW2 will be cheaper overall and more suited to casual players as a result (amongst other things such as being pvp / skill led rather than gear led).

GW2 doesn't offer similar endgame to WoW.

People who want a complete change may well jump ship but for those who like the wow model and want the raid endgame setup they won't quit to play a game which doesn't offer this.

Additionally Gw2 has no sub a wow player can play both and be no worse off financially so whilst a lot may play GW2 a lot would probably keep a wow sub going concurrently.

Well no point buying the £60 collectors edition seeing as the original game with unused pet code I sold for £1800 and with used pet code is worth like £150........Now we have a digital deluxe with the pet included available at any time in unlimited quantity it makes buying and keeping sealed the previously profitable over time collectors edition pointless as everyone's going to buy the mount and pet.

I dont think I will be coming back to WoW, It just doesnt do it for me anymore. I only lasted 4 years. But for that I do take my hat off to them for keeping me interested in the game for so long.

I might come back to see how it is later on, not sure yet though I have plenty of things to get on with.

This is my quote from a previous post when I found out about the release. I completly take it back. After a long break of playing it I have been really enjoying it again. I have now a few friends that we have leveled up that we didnt get chance to finish off.

Really looking forward to this tbf, I hear a lot of people saying that TBC was the best but I only started whn the Lich King came out.

Bought the Digital Deluxe edition from Blizzard last night. I have to say I'm looking forward to it. A whole new continent to explore is better than the old world remake they did with Cataclysm.

Was looking forward to wasting a month on this expansion but alas the release date is bang at the start of uni, I imagine it is for a lot of others too. I'd speculate it's partly to scoop up any unsatisfied GW2 customers a month after its release.

What is the best healing addon for raids?

I'm using Grid2 + Clique at the minute for my resto druid and disc priest. Others will say healbot or Grid with mouseover macros. Try a few and see what you like.

I'm using BeneaUI as my UI and its quite good. Very clean and comes preset for priest and pala healing.

The easiest to setup is going to be Healbot. Last time I played though, I took a while to tweak Grid and Clique to exactly how I wanted it and it looked a lot better to me. I hated playing with things half way across the screen - even if I was healing, I still liked to see what was going on! :)

Physical Collector's edition going "cheap" at Tesco Entertainment ;

£54.96 BUT using code 15PREORDER gets it to £46.72

OR, non Collector's for £25.47 using the same code.

It's tempting me, will probably pre-order next week.

Ive tried using grid but i never got the hang of it. I used healbot just because its easier to put the spells onto it. I am like you, I prefere to still see what is happeneing in the raid as well as heal

Also is there anything i can do to get rid or move that annoying little box in the right hand corner of the screen where you mouse over things.

I tried move anything but it disabled a lot of things like view sets on other people and the preview pane

You think people buy collector's editions for ingame vanity items? It doesn't have anything to do with the packaging / dvds / cds / art books?

D3 collectors edition was a thing of beauty. I'll probably be picking up the physical CE for this too.

Well yeah sadly. Check the bay for prices with and without pet to determine how desirable to the average purchaser each is.

Bah I bought the wrong trinket from the VP Vendor last night at around 1am? how long do I have before the timer goes off to trade it for the correct one?

Was far to tired and bout the agility one rather than the haste/SP for my balanced druid.
