** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

I will be leveling a panda warrior when i can be bothered (might get the heirlooms straight off with the left over points i have

Is it worth just having the xp boosts?

I wouldnt go that far, I still find Gw2 a good game but the joy of it being free is a great conus and i like the pvp side of things too.

But I really missed the tank/healer/dps kind of groups

It's funny boasting about a world top 20 kill like it means something

Want me to do into detials of how much I used to get paid by sponsers? Now that would be boastin wouldn't it? So when going for top rank kills it did mean something so your troll attempt was a massive fail!

I would like to know :) also how did you get into it. Ive always wondered how people got into doing these kind of things.

You clearly enjoyed doing it with the achievments you got with it.

So......did anyone have any hints as to why I'm so rubbish at dps on my fury warrior? I could possibly use some pointers in the way of which skills to always spam or a sensible rotation/list of the best stats top to bottom for levelling 87-90

If you don't mind spamming one button (can get boring) go here and copy the macro into wow.

That would be interesting actually as I did have two friends in Ensidia who AFAIK were not being paid by sponsors and they finished consistently higher than what you were. (Unless you were GM and maybe you had a sponsor then.)

ooohooo that's dead lazy. I'll probably do it to benchmark my skills against the macro. I've discovered that reforging my levelling items to hit and then crit to 7.5% then onto strength afterwards will greatly improve my dps.

I found a list of enchants and the guide reminded me of essentials like the belt buckle and effective cheaper gems to level with.

I'm extremely impressed with MoP so far, it really does highlight what an overhyped bodge of a game GW2 was. :(

You not liking it hardly makes it an overhyped, bodge. It's an extremely good game.

Played MoP on my mates PC yesterday, it's ok. Same old really though I didn't try a panda :p

I was just giving my opinion, it doesn't feel solid like WoW. I wanted to like it but meh, maybe it'll get better.

You missed out then, pandas are awesome. :o :p

I like the pet battles. Nice little sideshow. No idea what I'm doing though! I'm still not making any gold, though. :( :( :(

I have and enjoy both. I've found more addiction from pandaria so far due to the pet battles and the knowledge required to compete. I've needed to actually learn things, work out the best numbers - seek advice, interact with people and chat to them.

In gw2 you can rock up with any old gear and the same 5-8 skills and just mash them over and over and you will get through all the content eventually if you spend 200+ hours mashing. I've 30%ed the world map and done several dungeons in this half asleep mashing fashion not having a clue what I'm really doing and the game does not get harder than what I've done apparently.

You can't do that in wow in fact there is the underlaying trend of making sure you know your stuff because with so many other players with different styles you're always striving to be the best you can be, whereas in gw2 I don't care if I'm the best I can be because of how disconnected other people are from how you play your character and I could just get into any guild at any time and no one would know I was rolling my face on the keyboard. - They might know in pvp but I'm one of those people that doesn't pvp in any games and looked to guildwars as a pve mmo which is why it doesn't work for me personally. Pve is why wow works for me personally.

Also you know GW2 doesn't have that instant, solid response you feel on screen from precise and well timed button presses or buttons on the naga mouse, things are slower moving in battle with simple indicators on the floor of how to move and when to dodge-roll. I guess as a first mmo guildwars 2 provides great learning fun but now that pandaria has brought some of the well needed customisation back and the new talents need learning I don't need to think too hard about where to spend my evenings after work.

Speaking of which that's enough for now it's end of work time and I'm off home to play, pray for no traffic.

I went from around 1200 gold to nearly 3000 by questing in Pandaria. Pick up and loot everything, use gathering profs now whilst prices for new mats are still high.

(And then I bought the heirloom agi leather helm, putting me back under 2k)
