** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

... if you want to run about 150 heroics. And they're removing the ability to do it in 5.2, so you've got maybe a month to do it in. Good luck.

Took me the best part of a week to get geared for raids, should be the same for anybody... especially if you can find a guild with nice enough people, who're willing to take you through MSV a few times. You don't need to upgrade your gear, but it's nice to have the option available (whilst it's still around) to use all that spare JP you accumulate, or the VP that you'll never spend on gear if you're too lazy to do dailies.

What ability are they removing in 5.2?

I read they will be giving rep for running hcs in 5.2 as well.

They're removing "gear upgrades" in 5.2, basically the ability to upgrade the ilvl of your gear by a few points... And yeah, you'll be able to choose which reputation you want to "grind" when you use the dungeon finder, I think.

And with there being no gear reset (where the current VP gear becomes JP gear), there will be literally nothing for a PVE player to spend JPs on. A good time for them to finally up the JP reward for a heroic boss kill, no?

after farming for 6 or so years the two items that never dropped suddenly drop in the same reset! :D

now i can epeen to the max lol :p

I soloed MC on my prot warrior and on the first run I got the Right Half.

The second run I got the Left half AND the Eye of Ragnaros.

Was insane! :D

Never would I have thought getting Sulfron Ingots would be harder than the main component pieces of the weapons :(

I'm pretty tempted to get back into wow once I get a PC that can play it again (hopefully in the next couple of weeks), I got my Dorf Shammy upto 85 and then kinda got bored in Cata, not really sure how long I'll play MoP for until the boredom sets in again but I think I'm going to give it another go.

With time being limited, I think plans will be to get the Shammy upto 90 and then either take him through more old world content I never got to see (as gave up on raiding once BC came out as I had kids) or level up one of my other toons to 90 if the shammy isn't suited (from memory I have an 85 sham, 70 DK, 70 Rogue, 70 Warlock, 60 Priest, 60 Warrior)

Do the res scrolls give you increased XP to 80/85 or something for any of your toons? If that's the case I'll power level my Warr\DK up to being able to solo MC\BWL\Kara\BT etc

So far I've seen MOP for £15, is that about the going rate these days?

I'm assuming he can transmog most of that gear. I'm pretty sure you can't transmog legendaries though.

Sorry i might not have come across as to what i meant

I meant that Blizz are taking away your ability to spend VP and JP on gear to upgrade them from say a 463 blue to a 471 blue increasing all stats on that item ?

This is exactly what i am doing, didnt play wow much over the weekend due to working and felt i needed a little rest already from it.

Will be back playing it tommororw night again and my Shammie is in Desolace now at lvl 33, and my Paladin is in Hinterlands at lvl 34.

Decided i will wait to get my faster mounts at 40 before farming my professions.

So far enjoying it extremely, i have tried healing pvp in battlegrounds and that is very fun, im finding myself really helping my team out as there seem to be so few healers in them.

Great stuff! if you need any help just inbox me with your battletag or email and ill add you to real ID. Im playing on Zenedar Horde.

Enjoying mop quite a bit. Playing alliance on silvermoon atm. My only gripe is how poor retribution damage is atm. Retri paladin aoe damage is the worst its been for quite some time with the changes to divine storm and losing the undead / demonic stunning one completely.

I recently started levelling my Pally from 85-90 and I've completely abandoned Retri. Holy get Holy Shock/Denounce/Hammer of Wrath to DPS with and I'm finding it more than adequate for questing! But I totally agree with Retri AoE. It's absolutely terrible, Divine Storm is a shadow of how powerful it used to be... Retri always comes last in fights where AoE is required, from what I've seen.

It used to be terri-bad in Cata though and when they announced that DS was to become a "finishing move for AoE" in the same way Templar's Verdict is for single targets, I thought they were addressing the AoE issue for Retri, but it's really done nothing. I wish it'd go back to a decent amount of damage from Seal of Command, decent damage from Consecration and a Divine Storm that actually hurt whilst they're at it...

That being said, I did enjoy "briefly" how they altered how you gain charges of Holy Power, especially for single targets... practically every ability gains you a charge. More uptime for TV!

so I dinged 40 for the first time (woot) on my pala and shammie and got my epic mounts.......so much nicer than the 20 mounts.

my money making is going good also but im finding it a massive pain to level jewelcrafting on my pala.......I just cant find any decent amounts of silver :(

I got MOP and a 60 day time card for Christmas. I've now finished a couple of games I was playing so I can devote all my time to WoW again! I have a lvl 85 druid and rogue but have not played for about 8 months. I've not really been keeping up to date since I stopped playing so will all my talents have reset? I was playing combat for rogue and cat for my druid, is this still the way to go?

At the moment Cat Ferals are in a really strong place PvP wise....they may get a nerf in the future.

Rogues are not in a good place right now, they are getting some buffs in 5.2 (due late Feb/early March), but they still die in a stun due to the huge burst available to everyone.

I can't comment on dungeons and raids as I don't do much of those.

Just got my T1 PvP weapon on my Fire Mage, now doing some sick Deep Freeze damage in BGs.

Ive spent so long with an ilvl 450 weapon that fights feel so much easier now!

I leveled my retri pally through MOP and it was definitely a bit tough at times. Got him to 90 and haven't really played him since, i rolled a lock and i'm having lots of fun taking things down insanely quickly.
