Tell us more!

Serious note, with WoW continuing to lose subs this early into a expansion (people jsut don't like dailies, dailies, dailies) thats got to be worrying for Blizz?

I got him booted from our raiding guild at the time after a particular bad wipe night. As I was the guild's main tank at the time I threatened to leave if he weren't kicked. He was new and not geared but I felt he could've pushed more DPS than he did. I never took into account that he may not have known the encounters or perhaps nervous being a trialist and acted shamefully. I kept him on my friends list and even played with him for a while again (but on an alt) and he such a nice guy. When I decided to quit-for-good last week I noticed he was trying to start a social raiding guild so I done the right thing I gave him start-up capital :p

Got a lock upto 50 and a druid to 40, though I think that I really should just give ally a go. Thinking a human pala on silvermoon or something. Was thinking warrior or something else. But I am enjoying the pala, and I think it would be good to refresh my memory on the pala prot experience from level 1. Its going to be painful as prot, but not as bad as holy, surely!

Prot is the fastest way to level. Just pull everything in the zone at once and kill it.

Yeah prot is a blast. Though not sure if I am happy on Silvermoon. Its alright I guess. I gave Argent Dawn a go this morning, so far I've been invited to a lot of guilds and ended going /gquit after a while. There are some seriously crazy people on there, not they are not the rpiers. I think just the wrong guilds. This auto recruit addon is just bad. Does not matter on the realm I guess, just needs to have a good AH. Then its a matter of finding the right guild.

Hit 90 on my priest. Tried my first HC, joined the group on the final boss. He dropped a healing staff (I'm a healer), woo, that's luck! Except for a the fact a cheeky lock stole it. :(

I'm thinking of waiting till 5.2 is released before putting too much time into gearing, that way I can just LFG for rep. I don't mind running dungeons millions of times, that's how gearing was done in WOTLK after all.

Till then I may level my 85 prot warrior.

That your first 90? If yes, grats :).

Levelled my second char to 90 - my Rogue. the playstyle seems to be dramatically more boring than it used to be, I spend a lot of time waiting for energy to regen, so Im wondering if I will play him any more.

I would like a dual wield melee class to play as an alt (main as Mage), so I may level my 83 Fury Warrior to play instead. That char seems more fun and interactive than the Rogue at the moment.

Just found out my account has been hacked :(

Went through the account recovery procedure, was told to create a new battle.net and submit security information.

So I did this and the reply I got went along these lines, 'I don't think your account has been hacked, I suspect you've just forgotten your email address and password, [email protected] (not mine). I've sent you a password reset request'

/facepalm

So when does unauthorised access to an account, including changing of email, password and contact information constitute a hack?

Finally remembered to be on the beach during the Wanderer's Festival. Got myself one of the rare spawn turtle battle pets. Poor qualty, but better than nothing. Hopefully I'll be able to get an aquatic battle stone to upgrade it.

Thanks. :)

Ran a few hcs last night. No wipes so far which is good. Always scares me when the tank pulls the whole instance even though I'm freshly dinged! Just about managed to keep them alive though.

Lost a few DPS along the way that were 2 shotted but I figure that was because they did something wrong as opposed to my poor healing.

Yeah, was healing on my pala when I first dinged it. Scary when the tank storms in aggros everything and me in questing greens trying to keep up with the whole thing. I was always feeling like I was doing it wrong when a dps got 2 shotted though I suppose they over aggroed or attacked something the tank did not have aggro on. I get the same feeling when I am tanking. I've put gearing on hold for now, not even really doing dailes.

I really like the idea of healing and tanking, I just need a guild group to do it in the randoms can be a bit harsh, but then complain about the long queue times. Go figure.

Leveling a mage (lvl 26), should really get back to the lock (lvl 50), attempted to level the feral (lvl 40) again but it still feels clunky, and as Crimefighter mentioned, waiting a lot for energy regen. And I am missing my warrior the most from another realm. So altaholism strikes again.

I really did not enjoy my alliance experience so I am back playing horde and leaving the alliance characters alone for the moment.

Did my first sha of anger kill on my freshly dinged 90 druid. Won the dps tier legs, so two free epics. Along with the 480 neck on first run of crown co. Talk about easy loot!
Shame that bear and cat specs no longer share tier pieces as i do plan on gearing as a tank.
From now on if im not tanking it i think I might just dps in a tank spec if thats how it decides what loot you might be assigned.

I do also miss the challenge the cata hcs were at first. I dont even remember wrath heroics being this easy. Nice for gearing up quickly, but it is definately too easy.

thats what challenge modes are for now :)

Although getting a decent group for them is a pain.

I moved my hunter back to Moonglade from Draenor as im starting to enjoy some pvp as the tier comes to an end.

Have to say im having as much fun now as i ever have in wow, only difference is that its at a different pace :)

Moved Server with my main last night.

I went against my beliefs and checked wow forums, found a 10 man guild looking for active healer to do heroic modes, my gear not really up to scratch for it but i can sort that out in a matter of weeks.

Got to raid or i see no point in playing the game :(

The game's gotten so boring recently, literally have no motivation at all to play, and I just got accepted into a rank 800th guild. Can't even be bothered to change servers. FML.

I just about stopped logging my paladin on. Don't feel the motivation to gear up, the patch is prob out next week or the week after I am taking a wild guess. Not even sure if I done all the HCs and I've done 2 scenarios.

I did start getting pvp gear together and then decided to leave it until after the patch. Prob also a mistake, lots of honour to be gained. But there is still the cap on it.

Though on the upside, I am feeling happier with my druid in general and its now almost on its way to outland, bring on flight form! At 80 I will change to restokin (heirlooms are agi/stam leather)

I've never actually done any raiding other then going through raid finder in cata 2 or 3 times and somehow managing to get into the weekly kill in Wrath which was a storm in storm out thing or at least that is what it felt like.

So I am wondering if I will actually enjoy raiding if I ever get to a gear level. I can say that I did not enjoy raid finder much which prob is not a good sign.

Do you get swift flight form for free on Druids? (280% flying speed)

The actual form is free but still the same amount of gold to buy the skill to use it.

Sometimes it also bugs. You buy 280% from flight trainer then the trainer sells you swift flight form for free. But for me the swift flight form didnt appear until i relogged. So if it doesnt come up just try relogging.

It depends what you didn't enjoy about it. Raid finder is only really similar to raiding in so much as there are 25 people (10 or 25 in normal raiding) and that there are bosses and trash to kill for loot.

Raid finder is a nerfed version designed to be able to be completed with minimal communication between players. As such they are (much) more forgiving than normal raiding where mistakes can and do lead to wipes and guilds can spend multiple nights trying to down one boss.

For me raiding is the best part of the game as I enjoy the co-ordination, tactics and focused play, the people I raid with and the buzz of finally killing something which is challenging to us as a group along with some laughs.

Raid finder is generally a nice way to see content the first time but to be honest it then becomes a pain for me as there is less team working and people are only going for the loot. Groups tend to consist of a mix of people who have no idea what is going on, raiders who are bored just running it for gear and the occasional saboteur intent on messing it up for everyone else.

I just unlocked Therazanes Throne, did the dailys and finished all quests in Deepholm. I did not see/pickup any continuing quest? Im kinda stuck and dont know where to go next.. Any ideas?
