Looking at all the Kazzak love, perhaps I should return? If only I could figure out what I actually want to do in game though.

Thanks so far we are enjoying it and we have managed to recruit a couple of players to get progress going again. Three new bosses down this week wrapping up heart of fear and moving to 1/4 in TOES. some good attempts on tsulong too reckon we could be 3/4 by patch which is not bad considering the raiding issues we had before leaving daggerspine.

Was looking at Twisting Nether and Frostwhisper. I see some of you recommending Kazzak above. A few friends told me it wasn't a great server, but I will take a look at it too.

I left twisting nether alliance about 2 years ago. Awful for ally, tremendous for horde. Ratio is about 9:1 in favour of horde so the only downside is world pvp is probably hard to come by. Method, who are currently ranked world no.1 25 man raiding moved there at the start of MOP so I dont know if this has caused population to spike even more on horde side.

Indeed. Getting to 470 can take weeks of grinding if the drops don't favour you, and if you're not already at 480 for LFR Throne of Thunder then you won't be doing it when the patch drops.

Also, VPs are being converted to useless JPs with 5.2 but the old Valor gear is only being reduced in VP cost instead of changed to JP as in the past so you won't be able to bank on gearing that way. It's ridiculous and horrible, and you can forget about gearing an alt - it just isn't possible any more.

Awesome so i just wasted 2250 VP on my legs lol

Oh well did 1st raid with new guild and it was only casuals and we got to elegon in 2 hours so, guild is raiding hc modes and i am sort of promised a spot in new raid content if i am capable lol, 35 yo and on trial in a guild, lol
 
Quite tempted to give this expansion a go... Is there a group of you guys playing on a particular server?

Also, guessing the cheapest the expansion can be had for is around £15 still?
 
From what I've seen of this expansion (not too much!) it seems pretty good! Can get that 10 day free trial thing at the moment as well. Theres a few of us playing on Moonglade Alliance.
 
Seems my account was hacked when I wasn't using it, over a year ago now. Just contacted support who said they can't do anything due to how long ago it was.... Pain!

That's a bummer. Blizzard are normally good at sorting that type of situation out, but as it was so long ago I can understand why they can't help.

What server are you on? I can give you a hand with gold or whatever if needed.
 
Im considering coming back to playing wow.
Is mists of pandaria better than cataclysm was ? mostly because of that expansion i quit the game :(
and hows the pvp balance ?
