And, of course, I wouldn't mind these kinds of problems If I weren't being charged on a montly basis. Steam, for example, works 9 times out of 10 when they're patching any of their games. Do steam demand a monthly subscription for their games? Are their profits anywhere close to that of Blizzards?
I've spent the last 3 days, aimlessly searching the net for patches, installing everything from scratch more than several times, waiting several hours for patches to install, or patches that are so incredibly slow, I need to resort to the above, but simply can't be found anywhere. And worse still, these patches can't be made available by Blizzard.
So, please, forgive me for losing my cool, when I experience these kinds of transitions from other companies, seamlessly. Won't you?
All i can say is...i want my addons backlol

Most of the main ones have been updated now.
finished my reinstall this morning. All is looking good now.
the new GFX engine is amazing.
aye new gfx is really awesome.

I sold 4 stacks of silverleaf.....SILVER......LEAF ! the lowest herb know to the world (of warcraft) 50g a pop ! im rich RICH i tell ya

All working great for me on Draenor, got dc'ed a few times early on last night but later on all was sweet, everything maxed out and looking wonderful 
Downloaded the latest versions of Bartender, Healbot, Prat, Omen, Auctioneer etc and they all work well too, in fact the only thing that won't work is Pallypower, but I don't think that will be as necessary as before.
Great job Blizz, a huge patch carried out with minimal problems (at least for me anyway)

when people say the new gfx...im assuming they mean the shadows and thats it...as thats the only thing i can see thats changed.
Put everything to full and full AA and tell me it hasn't changed.
Models render better, mounts look smoother.
Ermmm, delete that add on right now. Get some raid frames (xperl\grid) and something like Clique which allows you to bind spells to mouse buttons\keys etc. The Healbot frame has epic lag and was really buggy last time I used it.

So weird, one of my clients managed to log into Arachnos, the other two get stuck in a loop "logging into game server" then back to realm list eventually. There seems to be me and one other guy in stormwind, completely empty, very weird. Loads of people complaining about the same issue.
are there still people unable to login ? 
btw what do people make of the new inscription, i got mine to 360 last night i really like some of the bits, i was a bit miffed that there was no rep receipes to get like JCer's got with BC

I was using Clique and Perfectraid before the patch, will see how Healbot goes tonight in BT before I ditch it (other paladins in my our guild always swear by Healbot so I thought I would give the 3.0 version a go.
I downloaded this ages back, looked at it and removed it. Not so long ago after hearing loads of good things about it, I downloaded it again, looked at it and removed it.
I'll admit that I can't really figure out what it's meant to do, but when you play a healer you're already mostly focused on a small area of the screen. I don't want to be consigned to spending all my time staring at a load of coloured squares with smaller coloured debuff squares appearing on it. Seems to take a lot of the joy out of what is already a fairly niche gameplay experience (healing).
