We just single tanked Zul'aman, easily too. 1 warrior tank, took every add, every boss by himself. We didn't even have the best team with us either, it was super easy :/

Are you a warrior or paladin? I assume warrior since you are main tanking BT , which a paladin couldn't? (previously, now they can obviously)..
Something's bugged then, because I have full settings and shadows on and I'm still getting 40fps + in major cities. I got the same system as you.
Well, if I move the new "Shadows" slider onto "2" then my framerate is crippled, seriously it drops from 60+ down to the low teens! Thats' on :-

Old system I know, but I'd have thought they'd have taken into consideration that not everyone has spangly new up to date systems. So this new look is a moot point for me!

40mins, first 2 in BT down
Was just running and pulling. DPS is insane. Naj was down before 2nd sheild. Supremus before 2nd run about!
Its crazy! just walking it like a heroic atm
don't wanna know what kz is like...
We cleared first 6 in BT in 90mins last night. Finished off Mother, Council and Illidan in an hour tonight and then went and cleared out Hyjal.
Big numbers are new abilities are fun, but the challenge has been totally sucked from raiding right now :S

Its a case of getting everyone through and done before the new content i assume? Also making it easy enough that some groups might do it later on so those that have never seen it might get a quick look, if they were still stupidly difficult/long no one would bother?
Reinstalling everything at the moment and regetting the patches. I do wonder if theres an issue with the fact I had classic, had the burning crusades trial with the client it needs, then the client runs out. In my updates folder i seem to have the TBC >3.0.1 patch and the classic > 3.0.1 patch, I think it was preloading the TBC patch then TBC rolled back to classic, got the classic patch and nothings quite compatible as it should be. Grabbing all the versions anyway and will mess about till i find a combo that hopefully works. THe repair thing, that I had no idea was there said they had to much corrupted data to work, though in reality it worked but only something was wrong, but i assume lots of wrong filenames meant it wouldn't repair. links are all so slow for downloading

Nearly same here! It's still a smooth 60fps everywhere except SW, IF etc then it will just go down to 35-40 fps and that's on a:-
C2D E6600 OC @3ghz
3GB RAM
Radeon 4870 1gig
Vista 32bit
Agreed we would have cleared tongiht, but people were getting lagg.
Yea a warrior - Pallas still own on aoe tanking. Single threat u can't beat a warrior still.
my alliance server has been down most the night.....had to play my hordies.
had my first visit to a capital city.....undercity....brilliant, and walking through the throne room in the ruins was just scary listening to those whispers of Terenas's death.........think this game is gonna take a lot of my life up

Don't suppose anyone can quickly run the repair tool on their install to check if it verifies. I reinstalled and verified it at various stages throughout all fine, redownloaded the patches from the semi official torrents, installed and at the last step it installed fine , went in changed to windowed settings , came out, repair check, says its too far gone to repair.
Just wondering if the repair tool just slipped their mind and its not really smegged. In which case, it wasn't smegged before and reinstalling and redownloading half of it probably won't have fixed my crashing

I can't even do that! Both my Alliance and Horde are on the same bloody server. I didn't even know you could have characters on different servers when I started playing.

Getting really peeved now, simply can't get it to the final stage without it being corrupt in one way or another and can't play for more than 15 mins if I'm lucky without a reboot, though it could still be hardware. why on earth don't they just provide one link thats the full updated client. I mean, theres absolutely no need to download the old client they download every patch, its just beyond retarded.
Put a nice updated 3.0.2 client up for a full download, full reinstall takes stupidly long and has a stupid amount of patching going on.

8800 gts, ran perfect before patch and now gets the crap kicked out of it some times.
Whats it matter , You havent lost anything, you can still run wow as it was for the same performance and looks & people with better systems have the option to make it look nicer.
I'ts not like they totally revamped it to cysis level & it cant be played on anything but topend :O, you've just gained an option to run it higher if you can.
