Yeah the wowace one was the only reliable auto addon updater before it got closed down, the curse one is very poor in comparison and happily tells them everything you do into the bargain which I really don't like.

The friend-recruit-levelling system is broken atm, it's not working currently. Blizzard is fixing it.

i downloaded World of Warcraft 2.4.3 to 3.0.1 Euro Patch and installed it, then WoW-3.0.1-to-3.0.2-Update and installed that.

now, when i click my wow icon on the desktop, nothing happens.

i ran the repair tool, it checked a ton of files, then a box announcing checking 17.7mb of 19.4mb appeared, a green bar quickly went up to about the 85% mark ..then stopped .. and it started downloading data ... so far its downloaded 642 mb and its still going.

does anyone here know wtf is happening ?
