OK Help Me ASAP-S3, Type-r, VRS, ZT, MR2 or ???

You have posted a 3 Series Coupe and a 5 Series.

What relevence does this have to comparing the 3 Series Coupe and 3 Series Saloon?

I'm not saying the Saloon is better looking than the Coupe - I think that but I understand why others might not.

What I am saying is this - its clear from the thread he loves the 330Ci but does not know if he can afford it. He's considering other options as well, including 5 door hatchbacks and other saloons.

So if he'd have a Ford Mondeo in a suit.. sorry a Jaguar X-Type, or he'd consider a Rover 75 with a bodykit... sorry an MG ZT, is 2 extra doors on the back of his 330Ci really THAT much of a hardship to get close to the car he wants?

I'm not saying 'Buy the saloon instead of the Coupe' I'm saying 'Buy the 330i Saloon instead of something else if you decide you cant afford the Coupe'.

you just come across as someone who knows nothing about cars and are just posting a list of cars that you are watching drive past your window, BMW's dont have a decent exhaust note I know I drove a 330 for years, the M3 is as good as it gets and it sounds like a strangled cat! You then bring up a seat - the only thing a 330 and a seat have in common is they are both cars, you really couldnt have a larger variation :p why not get sensible and stop dreaming about 330's and s4's and tell us which cars you can actually afford. While you are at it tell me which insurance company took away your protected 6 years no claims bonus after one crash, I must avoid them like the plague!

S3 £'s

OK, maybe now im going for the S3!!! Just trying to get the best deal i can right now! Its an W reg 2000 (210bhp) with after market alloys, air-filter and dump valve. Has 80k on clock with FSH.
Its pretty unmarked bar the odd few stone chips!
What would you guys pay for that?
 
this one is 52 reg with 44k on it for 11k.

ive had mine for 18 months and done over 22k miles in it. i admit the dealers rip you off for servises but you done have to use dealers...

however i have had no problems in that time i have had it and and why is it that vauxhall and saab are putting the alfa 1.9 JTD engine in there vectras, astras and 93's? that must prove a corner has been turned?

im definitely not complaining about the engines.....thats the best part of alfas. Its just the part that surrounds the engine.....the car!
I never had a problem with my alfa's engine for the brief time I had it. Like I said, I love alfas, but wish they would get an idea of how to treat customers, and become more reliable.
 
S3 - Amazing speed, handling and quality. Bro had his for 3 years now with 1 previous owner (its 4 or 5 years old) and totalling 75k miles it still performs quite amazingly!
