Ok so I have designed something - now for the big time

I know these questions have already been asked but how does this work for you exactly? Have you sold the ideas to the different company's and they've given you £x for them and then £x in royalties, or is everything in your name etc and you just get money from sales?

I don't quite understand what you are saying (before the ninja edit)?

I started making stuff a year ago. Some of if is coming out now and will be in the shops soon. I said a year ago as soon as I can I will start to tell you all about it.

I could have just waited and then posted "hey I made this, or that" only to be asked for the Hovis to be added.

I am not bumping the thread unless something related comes to hand.

This thread is sort of a story about what I have been upto in the last year.

I also don't understand all the "ego" stuff. I fail to see where I have really bigged myself up on any of this, or spammed the thread.

Yes I have seen the title, what is wrong with it,.

I invented a bunch of stuff, that will go into the shops.

It ain't easy, or a smooth process - I thought I would share it with you guys.

It is a tongue in cheek statement.
 
 
I did wonder why this thread was allowed as it's essentially advertising a (future) range of products that won't exactly be given to forum members for free, but I think the intrinsic value of information about general inventory stuff makes it worthy of avoiding being thrown in the Clink.

This is why I am trying to get it removed.

I always thought I would come on these boards and share stuff I have done. The laser cutter, the kittens, the 3D printer etc, as it may be of interest.

I don't see the point in telling the story any more with all the cynical posts about how I am doing this for advertising etc.

What is the best process for getting this thread closed or removed? I have mailed an admin - will that suffice?

Why are you throwing your toys out of the pram? Cynical posts? The Blue rethought and edited his post before anyone saw it and I've advocated keeping the thread.
