Well im glad we can talk without a lot of crap or b1tching.

I maybe dont have a high post count but Ive been a regular visitor here for over 5 years and purchased many things from OcUK starting from the old Kt7s.

I used to have my own custom desk which I built and Im modding the new one with neon effects and trying to achieve a very tidy cabling managment. My systems are modded to and not just purchases thrown up together, I think youve got me wrong from the start like Ive already said, I do have passion in it hench my eagerness to finish it and post.

Will it impress, I can say prob as Ive not seen anyone else on any forum with anything simular so in yur very own words its individual.

You will see and can then judge for yourself if Im just some muppet that had a few quid to spend, no offense to yourself or anyone else. Trust me it should gain me some respect as you call it.

My case is modded as it has cathode neons in it. Does it bring me up to the standards of modders like Gurdas, Gordy etc? No, not by a long shot.

Don't get me wrong, I think your setup is looking very nice as it is, and i'm sure will look great when it is completed, but it does not impress me. I've seen much more impressive setups, and we are soon to have one ourselves too.:)

Again, i'm afraid to say this but sure, it may gain you respect off some just for putting the time and effort in, but personally not from myself as i've seen many systems that will blow yours out of the water.

Please don't take this post with any offence and as though I am trying to put your system down, I am simply getting my point of view across.:)

Just thought I would add my desktop in. Got the wall brackets for xmas and finally got round to fitting them today, an absolute chore getting them level :p

You will note the mess of cables has also been conveniently edited out the picture :D

Well cobra lets wait till its all shown and finished before you go condeming me, shall we eh. As for the post counts and my time here it was mearly to say that im no passing wind that will come and go as described by some, please try and calm it down. Also have I suggested anywhere Im up to the top guys here standards at modding etc whats your problem?

Please remember I think Ive already said many times my hardware isnt moded a lot like many peoples even your own and certainly yes some peoples water cooling as you put will blow mine out of the water. Ive never stated to be some wonder kid or mod king but its how Im finishing and achiving the presentation of the whole room that should impress no different to yours but on a grander scale.

Sorry Im confused with some of the things your saying. Are you talking about impressive home mod systems and aint you the guy going on about a G5 in the pipeline? err aint that just a purchase?
Contridicting yourself a little there, why its not even modded so why should it impress anyone?, according to choppers ideas.

Im not offended by anything you have said at all if anything enjoy the talks and if mine dont impress you hey , what odds but your own is no mean shakes or much differnt to many peoples neither, no offence. I will say I enjoyed seeing it, like many others, good to share.

Lets leave it at this as its dragged on enough but people this guy no spoilt mofo or from any brat pack just a guy wanting to post his long going project.

Also, I wasn't saying that you expected people to think your hardware was modded to high standards, I was placing a simple comparison.

Yes you must be confused, I have a G5 and 20" cinema display to arrive, but what has this got to do with this? The G5 isn't for show, it's a necessity for work, it's not my fault it looks so damn fine.:p How am I contradicting myself? I never said that all impressive setups should be modded and not just purchases.

I know my PC is not anything special to most people on here, but to me, it's everything I wanted. I'm extremely happy with the way it performs and looks, and overall, that I got it all through my own work.:)

I'm sorry, I find this a highly inept comment. The title of your other thread alone makes others think otherwise. "Bring it on". You said yourself you wanted to see other people's setups, so you could then show yours off to go better than all you had seen before.

:D Am indeed, strange how getting them wall mounted this weekend makes me think they appearer larger in size :confused: Maybe it's just wishful thinking :p

So tempted to get a larger tft monitor to go in the middle to round it off (woops, think my girlfriend heard me thinking that, no not really honey)

1. Ive been picking up on your posts with an impression you think Im running around with some "GOD" superiorty complex lol. This isnt the case but well your judging /giving comparison to only what Ive shown so far and really what all have I shown, very little . So why compare me against the best and indeed suggesting it is nothing to what the big mod boys have shown here, like I said youll have to wait to see then wont ya before you go shouting it wont impress you.

2. Ive been answering to other peoples opnions as well not just your own, dont take every comment as a personal response. This is in relation to comment made on purchases only just not being enough to impress in the case gallery, err like that is crap as the gallery has loads of normal purchased systems as mentioned by others, it wasnt just you. Although youve been taking a lot of pride in letting others know what you plan to purchase (G5) and QUOTE "Post pics when you get it", so dont try and play it down as just some work thing. You cant wait to show it off, so come off it as youve posted several times about it.

3. Im happy your content with your system, but please try and see Im also doing the same thing, "having a system to be as what Ive always wanted" aint we all after the same goal.

EDIT: Tell me should this then be classed like the "brats" moan as dick waving, if the kiddies cant stand other people getting good **** then thats their problem. You now mention youd show any cool stuff you have phones etc, gees and I get flammed for dick waving by some eh, looks like everyone including them would be doing the exact same thing.

Of course i'm going to take pride in my new G5. I've liked them a lot since they were first released and was hell bent on getting one, now that I am, i've achieved a real goal. Also, why wouldn't I want to take pictures? I take photo's of all of my valued things, phones, watch, computer bits.

I'm not going to say any more on the matter now, because quite frankly, I can't be arsed.

Is it greyish then? or black? (p.s. what games do you use the cyborg for? i always wanted one but dunno what game to play it with)
 
It's all proper black, perfect for hardcore midnight gaming because I get the sweet blue and red LEDs from my Sonata case, Intellimouse and Cyborg shining out of the blackness :D

I mostly play Battlefield 1942, and I use the joystick for flying planes (and helicopters in the Desert Combat mod). BF1942 probably isn't the best flight simulation around, but a good controller is a lot more enjoyable and more accurate than using the mouse. :D

If you haven't got BF1942 by the way, definitely give it a try, IMO it's the best multiplayer game around. But you need some good friends or a clan to play with because the public servers are full of cheaters and people who generally don't bother with teamplay :(
