It will make it much easier for the final as he only has to beat him but if the dane comes 2nd then he will have to beat him by 2 places

If the Dane finishes 3rd all Ben needs to do in the medal race is beat the Dane, but if the Dane finishes 2nd Ben needs to have a boat between himself and the Dane.

Looks like a gold in the star class and a possibility of Ainslie getting a gold.

Not as good as the medal tally in Beijing though.

One of the women's teams have a good chance of gold too. There is also a Brit sitting in 2nd position in the windsurfing.

I'd guess the boats on the right got an extra gust of wind. GB boat seemed to try and shorten the course by going left.

It *looked* like GB spent the early parts of the race tracking Brazil, while the Swedes raced away. Silver's still a great result though, but that must feel gutting.
