All over the world...
LOL we bag the gold and bronze, 19th of the games...unbelievable really but wow some of these countries must be sitting there wondering why their athletes are just so utterly rubbish lol.

Well done GB, well done.

If I had that kinda lead I would have roly-polyed over the line...

Kudos goes to Hayes who pushed and paced the Brownlees during the cycling

plus the stopping and starting to/from the penalty zone would have cost a few seconds so would have had a decent chance

He was 20 seconds back from 2nd anyway. But still a massive shame.

20 seconds back including the 15 second penalty. I know he started dropping off before he took his penalty but maybe he was trying to conserve energy.

Even with a 5 second gap on the last lap he might have caught up/forced a sprint finish.

I'm not saying he would definitely have won silver but it would have been much closer and more exciting. :)

Without the penalty he would have definitely got silver as his brother wouldnt have hit the run so hard as both have a better sprint finish over Gomez.

True. There was no need to sprint finish as he was comfortably in 3rd.

Was the penalty deserved, I didn't see it happen?
