Yeah, as in will power.

pff, who needs willpower? ;)

wednesday will be three weeks clean for me

Since reading the book I've never looked back, even though the past three weeks have been super stressfull with work and such, I never even considered reaching for the poison!

I'm loving life, losing the gut and looking sexier

Still 100% alcohol free, never once been an issue... maybe I've just been lucky or made of stronger, either way it still feels good.

Well done mate. Good to see you about again, hope things are better now. :)

Today is 5 weeks for me, which I'm really pleased with, the first week was the hardest but I think that was because I had been drinking nearly everyday for the previous 10 weeks while I was away.

I'm keeping those 2 beers I've got for xmas. ;)

Likewise, no book required though ;)

Same here, didn't need a book at all. Maybe that's because I don't have a drinking problem.

MY couple of beers most week nights and a few more at the weekend do make me feel guilty lol so I bought the audiobook of Allen Carr yesterday. Have it on in the car as I travel 2 hours a day.

Started today, it does make sense to be honest.

Going into a beer shop to buy for the competition wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I'm looking forward to drinking them all at Christmas though! :D

I've bought that book as well - it's on my Kindle and I'm working my way through it gradually. :)

Oh yeah - even though I'm still participating in BOTW I'm back on the wagon with you guys again :D
Double awesome :)

That's always a good sign mate, enjoy them :)

The biggest difference this time round for my health kick, has been publicising it on social media. Recently when I've just been doing it myself I got bored and stopped after a couple of weeks. Now I've got friends and family involved it's a big driver to hit my target. Which incidentally I hit a couple of weeks ago but I'm still staying healthy(ish) until Christmas :)

Couldn't agree more! Whenever you try to do something on your own it's all too easy to slip up, but with support it becomes easier. That and the added potential 'guilt trip' threat if you slip up :)

Keep at it mate and good luck!

Well I'm still trying to give up the booze but sadly I'm failing on the weekend Saturday being my worst day for some reason, old habits maybe. I will crack it some how and at least I have cut down from everyday down to two days.

I'm ashamed to say I stumbled recently and was back on stupid amounts of booze for 10 days :o:(:(

However, been booze free again for the last 7 days, so hopefully back on track.

It was two months between drinks, and for those 10 days I woke up feeling crap - that was how I used to feel every day - that used to be normal, but it felt terrible and was another reason for me to climb back aboard. I wrongly thought I could just have a few drinks one evening and that would be it. Boy was I wrong :(

Onwards and upwards I guess - wish me luck! :)
