One hundred pushups

Feel like I'm not improving. Week 5 day 2 is kicking my arse completely. 18,18,20,20,14,14,16 then at least 40?!? Managed to get to the last set but only got about 12 :(
 
Did the second day of week 4 last night, went ok and I'm keeping to the times but I'm still not able to do the last set in one go.
 
just finished week 4, i can now do about 30+ compared to a lousy 11 in the initial test.

can't see myself doing 100 in 2 more weeks though lol
 
Done the initial test the other week and managed 35.

Started day one yesterday and found it ok maxing out at 30 @ the end.

Do I do the 3days after each other or like a 3day week split? monday/wednesday/friday type thing?

I did set 1 of 10, then 12, then 7, then 7 and for the final set I maxed out on 26

Why did you start on Week 1 Day 1 when you can do more than 5 pushups?
Did you do the initial test? With a max of 26 you should have started on Week 3 Column 3
 
Yeah first one is pretty easy, try and have a rest day inbetween as it soon gets harder, i've nearly finished week 3. I actually doubled the amount of sit ups (15>31) and press ups (20>41) i could do after 2 weeks which isnt too bad. 100 / 200 seems a long way off still.

oh right, is that how it works... i just assumed you start from the beginning...

haha what an idiot. looks like ill be resuming a few weeks later tomorrow then
 
Just had a few days break and did the test again before starting week 5 - got 25 :(

Bit depressing as I started on week 3 after getting 21 on the first test, haven't really made much progress. Going to go back to week 3 again :(
 
Half way through week 4, column 2 now....

Wednesdays target was: 20, 25, 20,20, 28+ but only managed 20 again on the last set....but i blame that on the 5 mile walk at the beach :(

dropped down and did 30 straight today (rest day) which is a 3-fold (ish) improvement on the initial test...

must...keep...going ...aaaarrrggghhh ;)
 
Has anyone completed this yet? I must say I'm losing faith, not really improving much and I find myself cheating and not going all the way down in order to try to do more. I'm sure this will work if you keep on repeating weeks, but then its not really a six week course!
 
Press ups i think i will do in the 6 weeks, i am really struggling keeping up in week 4 of sit ups though. Can't see me doing that in 6 weeks.
