One month til Pro evo/Fifa

Its not dodgy.

The memory card saves are made by die hard fans of the game who spend hours of their time to create better looking faces on the players, place sponsors on the shirts, rename all of the clubs/leagues and create authentic badges. All of these are done via the ingame editor. Some of the work produced is outstanding.

Dodgy territory involves the patching of iso's which we will not go into.

Does anyone know of a list of the licensed teams in this years PES?

I read that Man Utd were amoungst the licensed teams this true does anyone know?

Man Utd are one Arsenal the other Chelsea not this time though.

But if your a true Pro Evo fan like above you know how to get the option files which update kits, transfers all sorts. :)

Didn't Konami put a stop (as best they could) to distribustion of modified option files because of copyright/player licencing issues just after PES5's launch??

Still, there's no problem with doing it yourself as that's what the in game editing feature is there for.

It was mainly to do with the club badges being in breach of copyright rules. There could easily be a patch without the badges that would be fine.

And if people have any sense there should be tons of copies of Fifa left on the shelves while PES sells out completely. The only way EA will learn is if they get trounced completely in the sales figures. If it went on the actual playability of the games, Fifa wouldn't have a chance in hell, the official license is the only reason some people buy it.

You know they wont though Davey, in this day and age, marketing and budgets will sell more Fifas than Pro Evo's, when granny's and mum's buy their kids a football game, they generally go with what they see advertised.

I think in society, many people have no sense.

IIRC, Pro Evo has outsold FIFA in the UK for the past two years. Pro Evo 5 was still in the top 10 games chart last month according to Games(tm)!

When pro evo is out we should have a massive OcUK tourney.

I can see it being immensely fun! :D

Cant wait! Keep playing PES5 to control my fix for this game.

Just pre-ordered pes6 [ps2] - missed out on 5 so it will probably be a big change from 4 (when the ball sticks to your feet), but it should be good for a new challenge.

Indeed it did.

Also, if the pre-order chart at Gameplay is anything to go by, Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is #1, FIFA 07 is #9.
More pre-orders for Pro Evolution Soccer than Gears of War.
