Was meant to be in today, didn't sleep at all due to illness so it seems I'm off until tomorrow at least.

Actually bored of home now, wish I could have gone in! Of course sitting wrapped up in a duvet on the sofa feeling sorry for myself isn't the ideal way to spend a day...

only 10 working days left then another week off for me and then start my new job :)

It does feel quite nice to get up and out early I was slowly turning into a slug during the break, Ate and Drank far too much

Walked in work and saw 2 jobs advertised on the notice board, told my manager I want to apply for them both she wasn't best pleased about it.

They are only team leader jobs but pay £2p/h more than I'm currently on only thing is one is permanent 2pm-10pm and the other 6am-2pm (Currently work 8am-16.30pm) so if I do manage to get one of them hopefully it will be the 6am-2pm.

2-10 is horrible, been there sadly, works out as no time to do anything in the morning then coming home and going to bed. On the flip side 6-2 gives you pretty much an entire evening to play with plus change.

Have the pleasure of working 4 on - 4 off, split 2 days - 2 nights, so no change for me over the festive period.

Set my alarm for the usual time today so its not too much of a shock when i go back on Wednesday. Actually found it not too bad surprisingly!

Ive done it before as much as I hated it ide rather do 2-10 than stay in this department another year.

Back to it today after 10 days off (inc weekends). Must admit it was pretty brutal getting up this morning at 6:30 after so many late mornings in bed.

The routine is welcome however and work is mostly quiet in terms of staff and workload, so can't complain all too much.

Didn't sleep much last night, maybe 4 hours or so. I guess it's a mix of the late night/morning routine and things playing on your mind about going back to work.

Woke up at 6 by our son popping in to our room, so started the day catching up on my correspondence and drinking tea in bed. Got ready for work at a leisurely pace, more tea and then took a very easy drive to work as the traffic was light this morning.

30 minutes early into work, nice catch up with everyone and most people are chipper. Sun is shining, nearly lunchtime, can't complain at all. :)

Couldn't sleep at all last night, horrible.

But work has been ok, only 4 emails and some general stuff to do.

Still where did those 2 weeks go...
