I've been off since the 18th of December and back tomorrow. But I still have (I think) 18 days leave left to take before March. So not to bad :D

Normally I quite like my job, but I know someone screwed up big while I was away and I doubt they've fix it yet. Which means I'll have to fix it. So theres always a downer :/

Im dreading tomorrow. 2 weeks off and I am going in to a new role as I was promoted before the holiday but I obviously will need to carry on doing the old job too until my old post is filled.

My sleeping pattern is also completely messed up, been getting up at 11 past few days and tomorrow is going to be a 6:00 when the alarm goes off. :(

I do really like my job though and I am looking forward to much more money, just wish I had more holiday to use in a year!

Been off from the 18th so had a nice long break.

Don't mind my job so much but unfortunately I have to travel with work for a few days each week. Not looking forward to getting back into the routine of being away from home a lot

no, because I am jobless again!

After being made redundant in Nov I walked into a seasonal min wage job just to help tide me over.

I am still looking for full time work, but despite having 8 years of experience managing teams in warehouse environments then another 7 years managing teams in high stress online customer facing roles it appears that it is all for nothing.

I can't get anything supervisory/management level in warehousing or offices, yet I am too experienced to get anything low end. Even picking orders in a warehouse wouldn't bother me, and there's always change to move up. I can use forklift trucks too, and as long as I am busy I don't care whether I am planning rotas, running social media campaigns, staff assessments or even sweeping the floor!

Stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I am also deciding whether to take my photography full time while I consider a few other little things to do.

All change again this year!

Poll is surprising, didn't realise that many people dreaded their job

In my experience there are 3 types of people

1) people who dislike their jobs but work so they can buy all the things that make them happy. these are the most common.

2) people who do jobs they love such as zoo keepers, but realise that they'll never afford that new audi or the latest TV, but they do it anyway because ultimately, their work makes them happier than material things.

3) Then the most rare, those who actually enjoy a job that also pays very well, I have met very few of these types of people and it's been people like vets or pilots, but even then there are aspects of the job they dislike such as the hours they have to work.
