One Plus 9

The Pro model's camera system will have to be something special for me to part with my money, especially with the P50 on the horizon and supposedly sporting 1" sensors ( although granted you'll be left with HarmonyOS ).

Huawei is literally DOA until they have Google services. And even then their UI is an acquired taste.

Thanks - was going to check out on Phone Comparison for a 1:1 size comparison. I don't mind big phones but this is reaching my limit when it comes to one handed use.

I'm on the 8 pro and I agree around 6.5" would be the perfect size.

Amazon is all onboard for the launch I see. Big banner on the homepage.

In the West yes, the longer the ban goes on the more detrimental it is to their long term sales, In China they've dropped to second place I think but still strong.

I don't find Emui 11 sans gapps that bad and for those of us willing to faff about there's always the option of workarounds,l.

The pull for me has always been the optics, always is with Huawei's Mate and P series, best in class. It's also good to see Eero Salmelin (ex-Nokia 808/1020 ) heading back into the big sensor territory. :)

Can't wait for the event just to find out the prices and any pre order deals.. as everything about the phone specs has already been leaked one way or another.

Hopefully some real life YT reviews will be up straight away from the usual crowd.

I’ve definitely reached a point in my life where ‘workarounds’ is just not something I can be bothered dealing with any more - this goes for anything, not just phones.
But especially for a device that is pretty much on your person all day and is your gateway to basically everything if it doesn’t at least do all the basics out of the box then no deal.
I mean imagine buying a car that had no doors but you could workaround it by using the sunroof :p

Lol good analogy.

Fair do's.

For me the phone has to be an all rounder from design to software, specs and performance.

Huawei design and software just doesn't gel with me.

I can’t wait for all the reviewers who basically swore allegiance to the S21 Ultra to ‘ditch and switch’ to the OP 9 like the former never even existed :D
Heh most probably. Whatever will get them more views I guess.

Mrwhosetheboss has just confirmed his video will be up shortly after the event so shouldn't take too long to get confirmation if all the hype about the phone is real or not.
