OxygenOS should remain unaffected so the global version will stick with that. OxygenOS and HydrogenOS however have shared the same base for years so I wonder if that will allow OxygenOS to have more freedom... or is a sign OP and OPPO is getting even closer.

The China market love their more exuberant UI.
Oneplus know their markets and will cater to both independently of they're smart.

I always thought the China model had HydrogenOS already.

They have for a few years now. Few years ago though they merged development together meaning outside of the UI they start sharing a lot of code, and honestly that's when OxygenOS's underlying code started straying away from stock Android. Moving to ColorOS for the Chinese market in theory means the base code for OxygenOS will no longer need to also cater for the Chinese market, and hopefully fit with the global market better.
 
I'm currently using an S10e and am due an upgrade soon. What is the expectation for contact prices for the 9 and 9 Pro?
I can pick up an iPhone 12 for £249 up front and £32 a month. Would I be expecting the same sort of price range for this?
 
Today's leak by OP has been confirmation of 29 minutes for full wired charge and 43 minutes for wireless. Along with the improved heat management, especially for gaming, this phone just sounds better and better every day.

Unless things have changed this time round you’ll not get it on contract. The only OnePlus I recall making any sort of in-roads into that market was when O2 got the 6T. I think Three got the odd OnePlus release but since they had a monopoly they were charging silly money.
If it does get picked up by a network don’t expect it to even come close to the likes of the iPhone 12.
Only practical way to get a OnePlus is to buy it outright.

Ah I didn't realise that, so what are peoples estimations in terms of RRP for the two models?
