One TV series to watch forever.

Buffy probably, something for every mood. Can rewatch individual seasons, plot arcs or the whole show. Strong single episodes like Hush, Once More With Feeling, Band Candy can just be popped on without any further commitment.
 
Got to be Frasier for me, mostly because I've happily continued to watch an episode here or there most days for the past 20+ years, and it still doesn't get old.
 
Simpsons. Series 4-10 only. Burn the rest.

You only move twice is one of the best episodes, ever. Oh and Boy scouts in the hood.
 
The West Wing for me - I'm not even stranded on a desert island and I've already watched it through about 6 times!

Honourable mentions would be Breaking Bad (inc. Better Call Saul), Battlestar Galactica and Banshee!

Definitely my choice as well, easily my favourite series. Reading through here though has given me some new content to get through :cool:

I’ve never made it past the first series of the US office, it’s surprised me how much praise it gets, I guess I need to stick with it?
 
House MD maybe?

Or as a left field choice - Golden Girls! There's bleeding hundreds of them, and a hell of a lot better than choosing a crappy soap opera just for the volume.

Brooklyn 99 had a consistently high quality, but maybe not enough of them.
