Some people say they don't care about NFC but I just find it odd that they didnt include it. Having the finger print reader and Android M roadmap for Android Pay just makes no sense. I really don't count it as a flagship, didn't really count 1+ as when you actually got the device others were better.

Honestly I don't really care for a 2K display (I hardly see any significant difference from 1080p), no removable battery (I have an Anker battery) and no microSD card slot (I have yet to even come close to filling the 32GB in my current phone). Considering the price I say it's worth the money. Obviously it's not even a full 2015 flagship but you get what you pay for.

Well, Android Pay won't work on this but at least Barclays is offering a NFC sticker...

2K display is pointless at this screen size as this display is RGB Stripe and over 400ppi. Now if it was PenTile then it would be a different story.

And out of all the people I know with a smartphone, I don't think even one of them care if NFC was included or not. And that's including me. I'm glad they did include a fingerprint sensor, OIS and 4GB RAM.

They seem to be pushing people up the list based on the number of sign ups people get, displacing people who signed up.
Totally wouldn't condone signing up with a load of fake addresses, they might check after all...

Its kind of short sighted considering mobile payments etc, i myself can't live without nfc as i use it to connect/disconnect to my sony bluetooth speaker.

EDIT: I wouldn't be surprised if the first batch of production is 300,000 strong. A far cry from the 10,000 for the OPO.

I've had NFC on my phones for about 4 years and have it turned off 99% of the time, its a shame as it should be really useful but realistically its not prevalent enough yet to be considered a must have imho.

most high street retailers ive experienced dont even have contactless payment, so rules out google pay for example.

Same here. I've never ever used NFC and it doesnt bother me if this phone doesn't have it. I really like my 1+1 so looking forward to getting my hands on this

For example, when I connect to wifi at work, phone goes to vibrate only. Likewise, when I connect ot my home WiFi it disables my lockscreen etc. No touching of tags needed.

I even bought NFC tags and never got round to using them using them years ago. The faff of putting NFC on and off was enough to put me off. Another radio running in the background for no real reason.

"profiles" do you use Xposed for that or be rooted?
