Looks like they can be purchased without an invite today. May wait and see if they announce any new devices before I take the plunge.

Update on my OnePlus issues - still no device received, almost three weeks since it was posted.
My support ticket asking them to check the tracking number and order status has been open two weeks without a reply.
My PayPal claim has been open 7 days without response, and they have 3 days left to respond or PayPal will refund me automatically.
I would urge anyone to be very careful dealing with OnePlus. If you decide that buying from a company with a non-existent customer service department is OK, at the very least use PayPal to make your purchase. They appear to lack a basic regard for customer service, and the contempt they've treated me with makes me wish I'd never spent my money with them in the first place.

Yup, USB OTG cable & a 10000 mAh power bank.... along with the 10,000 units available to purchase of the OPO.
In other news, loaded up the BlissPop Lollipop ROM and it's smooth as butter! Liking Lollipop on the OPO, although I had no issues running 44S which I was happy with.

It will definitely appear, but perhaps as a regular CM12 build, rather than "CM12 S".

Ah lucky, my support ticket has been been open since December 5th with no reply. Awful company.

Flashing ColorOS fails
I'm trying to flash ColorOS on my OPO (I know CyanogenMod's better blah blah but I'm bored) and it flashes fine using fastboot. I am using the file from here.
However, when the phone boots up, it crashes after showing an 'NV partition' error.
How can I resolve this issue?

The trouble is you never know if you're going to get a good one. So I would say no.
