Mine got a OTA update this afternoon. From brief use it seems ok.

Problem is, I need a phone for now... also not sure I would buy another One+ phone...

Think I will definitely wait until it is launched, and a few reviews have been published, before making a decision either way.

And yeah there are bound to be a tonne of launch bugs (both software and maybe hardware) with the OPT...

I think I may have killed my OnePlus One!

I was flashing the Cyanogen OS 12 update using fastboot and I used the "fastboot reboot-bootloader" command twice and it worked fine. However on the third attempt the phone never turned back on and it's been stuck "off" since.

It's still drawing power so I assume it's not completely dead. I've tried holding volume up + power to get it back into fastboot mode but to no avail.

Am I screwed?

Fixed it! Although I did have to use a strange Oppo Chinese restore tool!

Damnit. I get into work, sit down at my desk and then I see I have the update available. Well I'm assuming it's CM12s! Must... resist..

What's the general consensus on updating methods then? Factory reset then update?

Just update it OTA, it should wipe cache and dalvik it's self.

Meh just try it, if it doesn't like it then factory reset anyway. Can't harm to try it first

They must have quite a few in stock at the moment, as I also received a couple of invites today... only valid for 2 days though!

Interestingly although I have just ordered a bamboo cover from them (which will hopefully arrive today) they have sent me the invites for the phone rather than the cover, which I know a lot of owners are still after anyway!

Mines going back. Touch screen issues as described in my previous post, except I'm not really sure I can really blame the heat, it just seems to spaz out at random. It's spilling the phone, because I never know when it's going to happen but I do know the phone is barely usable when it does. Not sure if I'll keep the replacement either. May end up going for a Sony Z2 or Z3 or a note 4 if I'm feeling flush.
