OnePlus One.

Mines going back. Touch screen issues as described in my previous post, except I'm not really sure I can really blame the heat, it just seems to spaz out at random. It's spilling the phone, because I never know when it's going to happen but I do know the phone is barely usable when it does. Not sure if I'll keep the replacement either. May end up going for a Sony Z2 or Z3 or a note 4 if I'm feeling flush.

Likewise... replacement on Swappa and Z3 is what I'm thinking right now...

Wahey I just got Lollipop on my OPO!

And err.. not seeing any improvements to be honest. Icons look fugly on my dark wallpaper.. why is half the CM12 theme dark (notification etc) and all the icons got bright squares behind them? And the app browser has a white background. Yuck.

I haven't played with themes yet.. should I? Any good stock dark ones kicking around?

Oh, and they got rid of the electron beam (CRT animation) when turning screen off! :(

NO ELECTRON BEAM?

:(

Any bugs you found so far?

Looks boring to me! My auto brightness seems to be playing up too.

More annoyingly is that to unlock with a pattern you have to swipe up first, then the pattern shows to unlock? I don't want to uses shortcuts on the lock screen particularly but you can't seem to turn them off? Its all a bit weird..

I flashed the zip manually last week. I like it, running the stock L theme, I do love the look of stock android.

Only issue I'm having is battery life is worse than on 11s. They have found an issue with GPS and wakelocks (yes again!), and a patch is incoming 'soon'

Reports are that the 12.1 nightlies are back to 11s battery life.

I'm quite tempted to root and flash Blisspop ROM, looks very nice indeed.

Not sure how I missed these, but how do they compare to the s4. Fed up of mine and thinking of getting out of my contract as I'm spending a fair amount of time in the states this year so going over to three, but want to replace my currently awful s4 with something a bit newer without spending a fortune.

Honestly, I don't mind Lollipop but it seems like they've just removed a ton of features

- You can't adjust auto-brightness anymore
- Holding power doesn't give you the options to change from silent/vibrate/loud etc.
- In fact you can't even get to 'silent' by putting the volume all the way down, I had to put my phone on airplane mode last night as I couldn't get rid of the vibrate icon
- Can't set quiet times anymore (what the heck are 'interruptions'?)
- Lock screen is annoying me, still

My OPO has over the past couple of weeks been suffering from the touchscreen weirdness that people are reporting. I've tried a few different ROMs (CM11, CM12 and Oxygen) and it's the same on all of them. It's like it doesn't pick up properly in the bottom right of the screen all of the time which makes typing and scrolling a real pain.

Looking on the huge thread on the OnePlus forums about it people have been blaming heat, so I have taken my OPO out of the flip case and sure enough it's performing a lot better now. This is really annoying though! I'm going to see if I can RMA it but I'm not convinced a replacement will be much better given the amount of complaints there have been over the last couple of weeks. I've just moved to Vodafone so I think I'll get a replacement and then sell it as I can't get 4G now anyway with the OPO on Voda.

Thread is here, I've gone to a page with some videos - I also initially thought it was my keyboard that was the problem.
