OnePlus One.

Does anyone else hate the notifications display on the lock screen? Where my notifications should be top-left I have 'giffgaff'.. and the only options seems to be to have notifications appear front and centre across the screen -- meaning you can only see 3-4.

Is it me or is that like taking a step backwards? I like being able to glance up at the notifications bar and look at the icons to know what's what :(

I'm wondering if the "play services bug will be fixed in the coming weeks" comment from CM also applies to the OPO. As if not i'm jumping to the nightlies...

Just got the OTA. Is it worth upgrading or is it too buggy right now? XNPH05Q. And what should I do before the update?

I dont find it to be any more buggy than the 4.4 builds to be honest.
And as for pre-req's, depends on the current state of your phone for things such as kernel, recovery, ect;

Do it its a good update, the only issue I had was the messaging app wasn't displaying my contacts names, only the numbers, but its an easy fix. :)

Just updated :) And have this problem haha - what's the fix?

EDIT: Found it, no problem :)

Just use hangouts ;-)

I'm in two minds about the nightlies at the moment, as news stories report no more CM updates incoming via OTA, so no 12.1, and no play services fix.
So i'm wondering whether to jump on the nightly train...

Just updated to Cyanogen 12.0, but having a few problems.

Having issues with my network signal, is it just a case of reapplying the APN? Not having much luck trying to fix it!

Also I can no longer seem to get my phone to be silent using the volume controls (pressing down just goes onto vibrate, no silent). Any idea how to get this back?

When you hold down, press the "NONE" and that'll put it on silent effectively

No idea about the network, sorry!

Got offered the ota yesterday. Think I'm going to not bother.

Phone is working pretty solidly at the moment and can't be bothered to stumble across any bugs. I think I read also that you can't wifi prioritise in lollipop; now that I have my works Wifi SSID broadcasted at home I need to ensure my phone is on my home wifi.

I'm not sure if I even like the new design. There doesn't seem to be anything to upgrade for, so I won't bother..

I wonder why the One Plus One is suffering so much with these sort of issues compared to the Oppo Find 7, considering they use the same hardware for the most part.

The priority mode in Lollipop is so stupid. Silent now means no notifications at all, whereas before it meant...silent.
It equates to the same thing.
The notifications are still there, you just dont get a buzz/ring/light about it.

BoomAM, where did you hear that 12.1 wont be coming OTA? Kondik himself states in the thread below that they are working on 12.1 which will bring Lollipop 5.1.1 features, so as far as I know we will get 5.1, also I'm relatively stock with not many apps installed but since YNG1TAS17L update I'm not seeing the Google Play Services wake lock issue, is that what you refer to?

Yeah but that mutes alarms as well which is very annoying when I want to put my phone on silent at night (but still have an alarm). I've found an app that brings back silent mode via the volume buttons but it seems a retarded omission in Lollipop :rolleyes:.

Thanks anyway.
