What are the options? Especially with PayPal dispute looking like only option?
Problem is what phone would I get otherwise?
Is a software fix viable?
Mine is worse at normal brightness
At really dark it's not obvious
At max brightness it's almost absent
I'd say the bottom 10% is what bothers me
I'm still undecided what to do about the yellow band. Seems weird, but if they all had it I wouldn't have a problem. I submitted a ticket on Sunday regarding returning under the 14 days cooling off period, I thought it would buy me time either way. Ive not had a response yet though...
Your options have already said. Send it back under the 14 day warranty or pay pal dispute. But I wouldn't keep holding off any longer
what ever your going to do. You could try a wall paper with a bit of yellow in?
After all this yellow screen talk i think I'm just going to stick with my N5.
Its perfectly fine for me (battery and camera could be better) but I cant be bothered buying the phone likely to have issues and poor CS. You all seem to have the issue and are all talking of returning them.

As you say normal brightness for me also its worse, software fix? doubtful. Some think its glue residue but im not buying it. Paypal dispute, sell it or keep it are the options. Theres no phone out there that really stands out from this IMO and that's why i'd like to keep it. Not sure what to suggest or do.
The phone battery alone makes me want to keep it, ive never witnessed a battery like it. The OS is buttery smooth for the most part and has some serious future potential.. and the specs are up there with the best. If they just RMA'd the yellow band I'd be incredibly happy, I need to see what ill do but my head says paypal dispute my heart says put up with it.

Reading the forums there is 2 issues regarding the screen. Yellow band towards the bottom that is meant to go over time and is caused by the glue on the screen, not having enough time to set. Reports UV light seems to fix it or just letting it be for a week or 2 does the same.
Second report is a overall yellow/warm screen that is being fixed by a software update.
I'm going to keep my order as the newer batches of phones seem to have these less of these issues.

I just use my right thumb for typing and it keeps up unlike my last phone.

You should have looked at the delivery T&C both are up to 7 days. You should get it by the 6th day from ordering

As it effectively makes a mockery of even offering express delivery.
Not really as it's there for you to read. 7 days for standard and 3-7 days express. You will get it via DHL mine came by RM.
No one is going to port the Find 7 camera over to CM11s at this time.
