Just deleted swiftkey and stock works much better. Might be buggy with swiftkey unfortunately. All I miss with stock keyboard is the number row. As for Dialer useRocket Dialer seriously good just downloaded it .. Gestures are neat too.

Could also be getting used to the yellow or its fading not sure. May even just be the auto brightness at this moment in time.
 
That is the problem
If I get rid I will have to spend a lot more (which is probably more than loss of resale from yellow band)

Think I'm going to keep for that reason. Saves hassle too

My screen definitely has the bottom yellow. Otherwise it is quite white.
I don't really mind it.

Only noticeable on white background. However I don't believe anything their CS say tbh

Just had a DHL Shipment confirmation, its apparently arrived in London Heathrow.
 
resale value going to be rubbish

first question buyers will ask is has it got yellow banding

how about keeping it for a while then in say 6 months time, send it back to Oneplus for warranty repair/fix/replacement? by that time they should hopefully have it resolved.

or would they not offer this?

Probably not but apart from the band it's excellent. If people don't ask about the yellow band when purchasing Its not your problem we haven't broken it. what I don't get is Opo say is all devices and some people say they don't have the band

I have the beta version of the new OTA, screen is colder compared to before. Don't worry, it's gonna be rolling out really soon (1-2 weeks)

Pretty sure this is the yellow hue though

yeah that would just be the colour temperature adjustment
 
ColorOS is slightly colour then Cm11 and I think therebmaking them a like to change the hue. However my screen has no hue and its pure white minus the band. Can't see OTA update change the LEDs creating the yellow band.
 
Someone over at the OnePlus forums installed ColorOS onto the OPO and the yellow banding was still there.

I don't see the supposed OTA solving the problem.
 
It wont, the OTA update changes the warmth which is the hue, however my screen is white anyway minus the banding.

the Raw camera looks awesome though.
 
I've had my OPO from Aliexpress since Monday and I'm really happy with it.

Coming from an S3 I was worried about the size but although its big, I can manage one handed usage okay.

There was definitely some yellow tinting down the bottom of the screen but as of now I can no longer notice it, even if looking on a white background, so it seems to have fixed itself in just a few days for me.

The speed of the device is great coming from the S3 and he battery life has been amazing. No longer do I need to start charging my phone in the afternoon before leaving work. Right now I'm on 16% with 15hrs usage, almost 5hrs of that screen on time.
 
Yeah think ill keep mine, maybe ill see how much and how good the new Nexus us and sell up then ill see.. apart from the banding as mentioned its awesome and CyanogenMod are updating frequently and adding all sorts of cool features. The future could be bright (yellow) :p
