OnePlus One.

I would put in a support ticket like the rest of us. It's a hardware fault not software.

I'll put a ticket in
But I'd rather this fault that the yellow screen.
If I get a Yellow screen replacement (if they do even bother to deal with it) I won't be happy

Dunno if I'd get another phone from this brand tbh
It's not the faults.. Its the handling of them

Got an invite by continuously refreshing (chrome extension;)) The person just posted 5 links and I clicked the last one and I got the invite :)

So you can take me off the list and invites will be coming soon for others.

Is almost gone
I don't think the multi-touch will cause a problem for me
May well just sell this when nexus gets here

Yeah just tried it now, seems mine goes nuts after 4 fingers is used. Think i might swap for that G3. Sounds a good move right now. Even though its not something ill use or bother me, the yellow band still bothers me.

for those who want rid someone said CEX take it for £308.

CyanogenMod and the battery life is something i know im going to really miss though.

As much as I want one of these the more I read this thread and the problems, the more it puts me off....

Its a superb phone but the customer service is poor, mainly because they cant make enough devices to fulfill peoples orders. On top of that the hardware problems is another issue for them and they really really dont want to have to exchange or replace them.

The multi touch only freaks on a table or mattress, if you flatten your hand etc its perfect very odd and it wont affect anything i do with it, i wouldnt use more than 4 fingers on my phone on a table

Fine for me.
Just used a multi-touch tester both in my hands and on a matress, works fine.
Goes a bit haywire over 7 fingers but still picks up to 10. It probably goes funny past that point as my fingers are closer together as the more I space out, the cleaner it gets.

I've just restested on a cushion and it does go a bit haywire beyond 3, more so the more fingers.
But I'm still failing to see why people are saying this is a fault. Its rare if not unheard of for me to use more than two fingers anyway, and more importantly: if it only happens in certain (odd & rare) scenarios...
Also, I seem to remember my GN having the same issue that Google fixed with a OTA. So no reason why OnePlus can't fix it with an OTA too.

There becomes a point where issues are being found where there realistically isn't one, in real world usage. And this multi touch one is one of them imo.

Yeah i dont ever use more than 2 fingers (pinch zoom) so not sure why this is even an issue. What uses do people have for the extra fingers exactly?

No idea other than some games, its a non issue for me. Besides its only on a pillow, table or mattress in hand its fine.

It looks like none of you have read the 1+ forum much. Mine was ok for the first few days
now it's playing up. For some of the people who had the problem now have a screen that won't work at all.

By what I've been reading it gets worse with time. You may only use 1 finger like me, but I would rather have a fully
working phone then a crippled one. The resale value of the 1+ is with it's problems(if you keep it) will be very low.

Would you keep your quad core cpu if only 1 core worked and the others did now and then? of coarse you wouldn't.

Not heard about that, however if your screen doesnt work at all you will get a free exchange, i want a exchange to see if the banding isnt as bad. I can cope with every other issue but the yellow band is the only thing annoying me right now, i actually would rather have this than a G3 just without the band.

Got a response from my ticket to return under the 14day cooling off period.

Hi,
Could you please tell me the reason why you want a return? We will do better in the future.

Still unsure what to do with it really with the multitouch issue (which I hadn't noticed) and I might be imagining it but the yellow seems to have faded a bit in the last couple of days.
It is a great phone though.
