OnePlus One.

Just had a play around with the G3,felt nice screen looks really good camera was a little better and brighter but I still miss the smoothness and tweaks like double tap wake from CyanogenMod and I'm not sure on G3 battery.

It looks a awesome phone if it was a bit cheaper I would have gone for one. Enjoy your new toy.

I'm not denying its a hardware fault. But just because it is doesn't mean that software can't mitigate the issue to the point where its not noticeable anymore.
If OP get to a point where they feel that this, arguably non-issue, can't be fixed with firmware tweaks, they'll probably do an apple and issue free back covers to resolve it.
The bigger issue, such as the ghosting, have already been confirmed as being resolved in the next OTA iirc.

It now unresolved :D really it is. https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/BACON-55
The fix someone come up with lasted a few hours lmfao. Well 1+ have got till Friday then I will put a dispute in with pay pal and my bank.

Havent got the new toy yet, i went with the GF to a phone shop and had a go as i'd never seen one in flesh, ive messaged the chap wanting to swap, so may do the trade monday. The choice i have is put up with the yellow band and love the OS and battery life and other tweaks, or change and get nicer screen, nicer camera, smaller phone, potentially worse battery life, less snappy OS and tweaks.

It's unresolved as of today.
Your thread links don't really back up your comments. It confirms both what I haven't disputed along with a community opinion on how easy it is for OP to fix.
And community opinion isn't verbatim as far as problem solving goes. I'd be willing to bet that OPs engineers know a dam sight more than a few people with rudimentary electrical and RF knowledge.;-)
They are likely looking into it and will respond in due time once their own testing has confirmed cause and solution. The same as Apple did with the iphone4 fiasco.

Patience!

Battery life aside, most of the tweaks/features are CM ones...just get a phone with a functional CM build?

Page 28 of the OP forum thread has an interesting post:
My Desire HD(HTC) can't recognise more than 3 fingers with CM11 due to bad digitizer driver, although HTC made another version with different digitizer which can recognise more than 3. If I test my phone with CM11 and try more than 3 fingers I get instant shut-down screen(like turning off the screen), if I use CM7 everything is fine. On the other hand HTC left us in the dust since android 2.3.7 but still even if only 3 fingers are recognised ..they work ALWAYS grounding or not.
Possible workaround, of sorts, could be possibly fixed with software. Not perfect, but still something to go on.

Maybe we got crossed lines. That 55 bacon is for the keyboard fix not the multi touch problem.

1+ have already admitted that's hardware and you can't fix it with software.
If they have the cash then maybe they will send a fix or replace it. But most of the Chinese buyers are up in arms about it.

I'm just glad I used my card via pay pal and I can get my money back.

No crossed lines here, I knew which bit you were referencing.
I haven't seen them admit it. Just a few forum guys theorising. That's not a confirmation.
Until there's a press release or something on an official page, its not confirmed.

Its more likely to see an enmass replacements or new back covers at this point whilst their user base is known to them and in such small numbers. As said, patience. ;-)

So I've had my OnePlus for a couple of days now and battery life seems really good. I'm not noticing a yellow band but the screen colour temperature is warming than the nexus 5. Still happy with it.

The only thing that bugs is the clicking or popping on Bluetooth audio in the car. Nexus 5 was fine and didn't do it. This does it on all phone calls.

I loved my One+ from the day I got it, but after reading this thread recently about problems after problems that /i didnt care/notice. All I seem to find myself doing now is looking for these "faults" instead of enjoying the phone. Most of the time I find myself looking at the bottom of the screen to look for the yellow band...

Ditto. :p

Ditto the phone is a beast all it would have taken is the yellow band to be fixed and everyone would be happy. The battery is unreal 51% left with 15hrs use today.
