Putting such an arbitrary time on when updates will roll out seems like a really stupid thing to do anyway, some bugs will take longer than others to fix and there's only so many features they can add in.
A well thought out update with decent bug fixes and maybe the odd well coded additional feature every 8 weeks is better than rubbish every 2.

They are in battle with MIUI who update every week(Friday) at 4pm with out fail. 1+ chose every other week and failed.
 
I've had my one a week now and absolutely love it.
Battery is amazing, screen is superb, it just feels better in every way over my nexus 5. The speakers must be twice as loud.
I haven't gone looking for any of the bugs folk have mentioned, I just use it and haven't noticed any problems at all.
 
They've really made a mess of the logistics of it all. People have ordered their one plus on the 3rd of august and have already got their phone whilst others have ordered 31st July/1st August and have not received anything (same country and same standard shipping) :(

You seem to think I'm questioning your purchase, I'm not. I have simply stated that the fast charging is something I find value in.

Yeah they've made a right balls of it.
Mine took 12 days to arrive. It was very annoying when people who ordered 2 days after me got theirs delivered 3 days before mine.
And their comms are equally rubbish.

It would put me off dealing with them again

The phone's great though.
 
Mine has been ordered for 24 hours now. I guess I am looking at at least another week judging by the comments.
Looking forward to it though. Especially since I know it's going to be so much better than my huawei y300 :)
 
Just had an annoying fault where the screen stopped working during a call, then crashed the dialer.
Had to hold the power button and select reboot to end the call!

OTA can't come soon enough.

1+ have got colorOS 2.08 on their site ready to install. Now I may give this a go as it's got a better camera(which takes RAW)
And the animated desktop weather is just awesome. :)
