Starting to have screen issues with mine now. The middle portion of the screen becomes unresponsive to touch or think Ive touched it many times and go a bit berserk. The outer edges of the screen are OK.

A reboot fixes it for a short period so i assume it must be software issue.

I'm going to do a factory reset and maybe add an update as I'm still on the one that shipped (25R) as its been solid until now.

I would update to the latest version, as for many the first few updates did help alleviate some of the touch screen issues. Best to do that and then at least you will be able to tell if it is a serious hardware issue or not.
 
Really interested in this phone. My contract just ran out and it's time for an upgrade. With a sim only contract and this phone.. over a 24 month period it works out a ~£20 a month depending on sim deal. Bargain!

Would love an invite for either model (I think the white one looks a lot nicer but the storage is obviously worse) if anyone has one :)

So seeing as mine should be here this week, I'm probably gonna root just to get it over and done with. What ROM's kernels are best atm? Any good Lollipop ones?
 
So what ROM is everyone on?

I rooted mine when I decided to not get rid of it and flashed Mahdi last build along with the last 4.4 AK Kernel.

Running great with battery lasting avergae of 2 days with close to 6 hours display time.
Thats with either the wifi or data turned on, one or the other depending on where I am.

Tried a couple of Lollipop ROMs such as Euphoria and LiquidSmooth, too many bugs for me to keep with it though.

Albeit the above has been over a month or so now.

or cm12 nightlies and AK kernel

you need to try a few different ones :)
 
Not sure what its like now, but when I got mine in August, it was a week to the day with express shipping via DHL. Good luck! :)
 
got a funny issue with mine - the volume on the speaker has decreased massively in the last day, I usually put some tunes on when i'm in the shower but put something on today and couldn't hear it, the volume was up near the top and it was barely audible, and the last time I used it there were no issues so can't imagine the speaker is damaged...

Similar problem here... bottom third is kinda screwed. If I try and type even a little quickly, the keyboard spurts out gibberish.

I'm on the latest software version (XNPH05Q) and have never had problems before. Could it be a hardware issue? I was skiing with the phone in my pocket this past weekend... and did have a couple of spectacular wipeouts...

I've updated mine to 33R at the weekend and so far so good. I'll see how it goes.
