Operation Fresh Toast H440 Watercooled

Nice looking setup mate, very tidy and the 440 in white is a great looking case.

Cheers Man! Now it's you turn to go watercooling, get those 780s underwater and they'll thank you for it. Already getting Rufus interested and he has the same case as you so it'll be super easy.

Great set up you got going on there! H440 <3

I certainly got that H440 love once I saw the TTL video on it. Was originally planning on the 760T but it cost way too much for a functionally sub par case compared to this.

Someone made some really cool concept art for a mini itx version of the h440 which looked really awesome, but I cannot find it atm.

Found it!

Don't taunt the newbie with your fancy tricks - I am still getting my head around this "trust" mechanic. As far as I am concerned I don't trust the lot of you!

Back to the build, I found and added a pair of old cold cathodes from my old build. Stuck them out of the way so they would cast light on the rest of the build rather than being visible themselves.

Quite happy with it now.

Been doing some testing with overclocking with my 780. Found that I was pushing the memory to far in all my tests which was causing them to fail. So dropped that back to stock and am pushing the core clock around a bit. 1176Mhz is currently in testing at 1.212v.

Looks really good, shame about the cables. Maybe full braided next time instead of extensions?

Also I can't be the only one opening this thread expecting a Red Dwarf themed mod?

Are there braided cables available for the RM series of PSUs. I could never find a definitive answer.

Also Red Dwarf is way before my time, so I have no idea of any reference.

Cheers for the comments. I aimed for a tidy build to please Rofl's eyes, but I am glad everyone else appreciates it as much.

I have just realised that very few people will know who rofls is, I'll keep it a secret.;)

EDIT: Multiquote did not work. I have no idea what I am doing.

Thanks man.

I have been looking at wiring diagrams for the switch in the back of the H440 that turns the back LEDs plus NZXT logo illumination on and off. It would seem fairly simple to add the power for the cathodes onto that same switch using the other set of pins, and therefore I could control all the lighting via the single switch at the back.

Love the build, particularly the lighting. Sets it off very well.

Tbh mate, cards are only hitting 65 and 53 in bf4, and running very quietly. Gotta love the windforce cooler.
